It will be interesting to see how different this looks from the official Blu-Ray, i will definitely be picking up a BD50 when this is released.

Kingherb what version of mkvmerge do you use?

I'm using MKVmerge Gui 5.2.0, i have not bothered updating for a while since i've had no problems using it so far.

Is that because it's in iso format? i extracted the files from the iso with winrar then made a mkv with mkvmerge.

All those 3 formats you listed on myspleen have been fixed already, the previous releases on myspleen were removed and replaced with the fixed audio tracks.

These are all the original 2.0 releases with the audio fixes by Hairy_Hen.

- 16.06GB MKV - by Harmy, best quality, has the most audio and subtitle options.

- 7.9GB AVCHD DVD9 - by Harmy, great quality, not much difference in picture quality from the mkv, less audio options.

- 4.29GB DVD5 - Chewtobacca's NTSC DVD5 conversion, most likely the best conversion you will see in sd dvd5 format, has only 1 audio track.

Thanks for the update Harmy, great work. Btw it still amazes me how bad the colour timing is on the Blu-Ray SE version....

I and many others were very pleased with 2.0 :) 2.1 only came about because Harmy is a perfectionist, people should be glad he is sharing his work.

Although i am a little confused at this point how this scene in the original looked, the overlapped version does look good to me, very interesting.

Personally i do not care what the colours are like in this scene for DE 2.1 aslong as they are accurate to the original sw source and not what people remember it to be or what they want it to be.

Harmy can you tell us what it is you have seen that made you rethink the Obi Wan scene. I do like the new colours i must say but the change is so different from your previous version it makes me curious as to what print/version you based the colours on?

I can't wait for this release, i have not watched the new Conan and i very much doubt i ever will, Arnold will always be the true Conan :)

Hey Harmy in that last shot the colours look really great! but so much different from before, i was wondering what are the reasons for this? because i thought you tried to match the colours to the I.B print shots your working from in 2.0? is this 2.1 closer to the print than before as far as colours? or are you trying a different approach?

Thanks for the video comparison Harmy, i am downloading it now, although i must say i actually prefer screenshots when it comes to seeing colour changes, by just flicking back and forth, but im not complaining ;)

Sure, if you want to wait until it is complete (Harmy doesn't have much experience with menu creation), download soundtracks that perhaps you don't want and run the gauntlet of studio DMCA takedowns that will inevitably result from a polished BD.

Your better off getting the AVCHD, the quality wont be much different from a mkv and you can easily change it to a mkv and add soundtracks etc. A polished BD would not make any difference on that situation, shiny or not.

I just checked the Ben-new.mp4 to see the difference, did you make 2.1 slightly brighter? it's hard for me to tell but i do see some slight colour differences. Also is this scene now closer to the I.B print your working from, or closer to what some people wanted the scene to look like?

Edit: I just checked the screenshots and now see it looks better to me in 2.1, great work Harmy :)

I muxed the file uploaded on myspleen with my Blu Ray of Terminator and had no sync problems or sound issues after burning it to BD-R. Thanks for the upload :)

I was really wanting the Blu-Ray release soon but after thinking about it, i would rather the movies have all your time and attention and be finished quicker, rather than let things such as menus/speacial features etc slow down progress, so i am all for the MKV and AVCHD.
