xhonzi's alive! He's in the Old West, but he's alive!
I don't have any ideas off the top of my head, i'd have to see the film again.
I'm interested in what others think.
That blog link wasn't working for me the other day but it is now, i'll give it a read in a bit when i have some time.
I'd definitely be interested.
I thought the film had some interesting stuff but the cliched plot just ruined any enjoyment for me.
Is that a thing?

Finally saw The World's End.
Overall I enjoyed it but the tone kind of shifts around a bit. It's not their best film but it was pretty funny.
3 balls.
I saw it the other day too.
I really enjoyed it, thought it was way better than the abysmal Paul, but a far cry from Hot Fuzz or Shawn of the Dead.
The worlds end was filmed in the town where I live...Yep!!!
Still haven't seen it, although I kinda live it everyday...Yep!!
One Bloke. Twelve Pubs!
Do you really have pubs with names like the Famous Cock?
Saw it again, liked it even more the second time. There's a good deal of foreshadowing that I clearly missed the first time. I'm sure there's still more stuff that I've missed..
I was only half paying attention but I think I remember seeing a deleted scene or two from IM3 of Kingsley's Mandarin in character with nobody else around. That might be useful, if i'm not just imagining it..
It might also be worth checking through other Marvel stuff ie: The avengers just in case there is stuff that you could re-purpose.
Damn. I thought things were intense before that episode.
I was hooked right from the opening. They always manage to amaze with with their flashbacks / flashforwards.
I too cannot decide whether I think future Walt is on a revenge mission or a rescue mission.
At first it seemed like he planned to take Holly with him, I'm glad he didn't. Running off with her certainly got their attention, but we know he has unfinished business. at least in his own mind.
Wow, shit's getting real. We know what Walt will survive this firefight / confrontation which means that the odds of Hank surviving are slim..
Only 3 episodes to go -

Granite State -
New Hampshire is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States of America. The state was named after the southern English county of Hampshire. It is bordered by Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. New Hampshire is the 5th smallest and the 9th least populous of the 50 United States.
Its license plates carry the state motto: "Live Free or Die". The state's nickname, "The Granite State", refers to its extensive granite formations and quarries.
So they've referenced NH a few times and Future Walt stated he was driving from there to ABQ. In His NH driver's license picture Walt is bald, Future Walt has a full head of hair. Seems like it might have been an ideal place to lay low for a while.
Felina - All I can tell at this point is that it's an anagram of Finale.
Also, this was pretty cool - make sure you watch the whole thing! - I hope it makes it's way onto the BBBlurays. [sic]

Playing Diablo 3 on xbox, never played it on PC. Is it just me or are these demons all talk?
Anyone planning the get GTA V. I think it's out in 3 days, I'd kind of forgotten about it. I've never actually finished a GTA game but if it's as good as the trailers make out then I might make a real effort with this one..
Been playing a bit of Halo: Spartan Assault but I've lost my save games so I'll have to start again. I've tried playing with an xbox 360 controller plugged in, it's different but not really easier.
One thing that bugs me is that some things are locked away behind a paywall inside a game I paid for - they are things I can get by without but it's an annoyance just the same.
Picked up the dlc missions for Rage So I've started playing through the whole game on the ultra nightmare difficulty. For the most part it just means playing carefully / cautiously.
Look what came in the mail..
It actually arrived yesterday but I was quite busy and without proper internet.
I've only had a quick flick through so far but I'm impressed with the amount of media compiled. Hopefully I'll get a chance to watch the cinematic cut during the weekend - and show it to a younger star wars audience.
I'm impressed with the packaging - I would have been happy with envelopes.
Thanks for putting this together guys and extra thanks to Galactus for mailing me a copy.
Riddick.
Wasn't sure what to expect but I enjoyed it - much more than the previous film which did nothing for me.
It's a bit different to the other two but it makes enough reference to them to tie the three films together. Karl Urban Cameo FTW.
3 Balls.

For anyone sweating bullets on this issue, please relax: We got 005 into the Steam Group.
For anyone following or wondering if they should join the Steam Group, please be advised that Johnny Ringo is the Player of the Week.
And for anyone wanting System Shock 2 (or named C3PX), be advised that Good Ol' Games (gog.com) has it for $2.50. I have this version and it works just find on my 64bit Windows 7 machine.
That is all.
But...I haven't played anything this week...
Does that come with house keeping responsibilities or is it an empty title?

Something about Rage..
I love me some Rage. It runs surprisingly well on my Surface Pro tablet. I'm considering getting the Scorchers DLC, I've played it but I don't own it. seemed like fun.
EDIT: by the by it's a hefty download if you're going that route. circa 25GB.
It could be fun to actually have someone to tackle the co-op missions with.
I've also been thinking about grabbing System shock 2 lately. might check out that GOG deal.
Finally saw The World's End.
Overall I enjoyed it but the tone kind of shifts around a bit. It's not their best film but it was pretty funny.
3 balls.
Kick-ass 2.
Fucking terrible. No balls.
I really enjoyed the first film but this one was just a train wreck. They lost me at Rape humour.
It was a sequel that really didn't need to be made and having seen it I really wish they hadn't. Maybe in the right hands [with some heavy re-writes] it could have been another fun ride but it's just dark and disgusting.
**You will see characters shit themselves.**
I was enjoying Robert Llewelyn's 'News from Gardenia' until it stopped suddenly on a cliff-hanger.
I had no idea it was meant to be the first book in a series. Now I have to wait around while he writes the next one. in the meantime I'm re-reading his 'The man in the rubber mask'.
I'd read it years ago but this new edition promises something like 40% new content.
Guess I better install Steam..
;)
Hook a brother up. Steam handle = lou_pines
What a dick move.
This sort of thing will end up hurting themselves as it will encourage piracy.
We seem to be in sync on that, at least for the moment..
Did you notice in the "Kill Yourself" scene that Marie was not wearing Purple?
oh yeah, And Future Walt is wearing a green jacket - Both Jesse and Todd have worn jackets like that..
We KNOW that Walt takes on mementos or traits of people whose deaths he feels responsible for.
Just remembered while re-watching 5x11 as Todd is wering one such jacket at the diner.
I assumed it was a typo for imgur -- the image hosting website. What am I missing?

GI Joe 2. What is up with the Rock? he is freaking huge. he is literally twice the man he used to be.
Joss Whedon should have put him in a Ruffalo wig and cast him as the Hulk. That said, I feel like his acting has improved a great deal over the years.
mindless fun. 2 balls.
I'd ask where you found that but I don't think I want to know. Can we forward this on to Joss Whedon?
We're The Millers
eh, It was kinda funny. Decent enough feelgood movie for a lazy weekend but nothing special. 2 Balls.
hmm, I don't buy it. But I did realise something else while watching the clip...Sander Cohen was played by James Urbaniak. How did I not notice this before? Bioshock just became even more awesome..
should have cast Jiggle.
