I haven't ignored your criticisms, but that's really not my point here. My point is - Why do you bother with this show when it's obvious you don't like it? - and it's clear to all of us that the show is not going to change drastically.

I'm not trying to attack you here nor defend the televison show, Just tying to understand why you keep on chasing your tail so to speak.

Telling me for the 37th time that you think the animation style is 'wooden' has absolutely no bearing on my enjoyment of the show.

I thought i already reviewed the Fifth Epsiode and said it sucked.

I dont know how things are with you but if I don't like a show say 'Grey's Anatomy' for example, I'll do my best to avoid it. and I certainly wont waste my time spewing vitriol on a Grey's Anatomy fan forum.

Since you are five episodes deep at this point i really dont know what you are expecting but really wouldn't you be happy maybe watching something else.

Or [honestly] do you suffer an obsessive compulsive disorder? It does come across that way at times.

Now I'm not a massive fan of the show, negative comments are welcome if you have a point to make - rather than simply stating 'this sucks' or 'that sucks'.

The next episode actually looks like it might be pretty decent - "I lost Artoo in the field...".

Well Juno does look almost exactly like the actor she was based on [Nathalie Cox], but I do agree that she's there as a pretty face. If they really wanted to tie the trilogies together then Starkillers pilot would have been some guy with big mutton chop sideburns.

I don't want to sound overly critical of something I haven't actually seen yet, but going by the posted images I would suggest increasing the contrast a little and make adjustments to brightness to help things stand out / stand a part a little better...a lot of the scenes in general look a tad on the dark side and fairly grey.

In the posted shot of Obiwan [TPM] his face appears very dark and without colour information, slightly hard to make out. I'm sure it probably is easier on the eyes in motion though...

Also i'd think that using the title '30's serial edition' within the actual film itself kind of breaks the fourth wall a little.

The text cards do look a bit on the plain side, I'd expect them to be a little more fancy, Otherwise there doesn't really seem much reason to use those as oposed to simple subtitles. Maybe you could add something like imperial and rebel [or whatever era...] emblems in oposing corners?

And maybe make the text a bit larger since you have almost the entire screen to use. I do like the 'star wars' borders.

I AM still planning to check this out as I think it's a very interesting idea.

ive been torrenting them as im from the UK, and there is the CARTOON NETWORK logo that pops in and a PG logo aswell. if these were recut to 16:9 would that bit be cut off? otherwise we have to wait till the DVD comes out!

yeah, looks like the Movie ratio is wide enough that you could crop off the lower section from episodes bearing the CN logos and still have enough to work with.

Colour me interested. This is something I'd thought about before. I'll definitely check this out and get back to you.

Any chance of a more compressed version? - it would take me quite a while to download 7+GB. Especially just to 'check something out'...I don't mean to sound demanding or anything, Just the way things are.

i had put a little thought into combinining the 'malevolence' trilogy with the introduction of ahsoka from the movie - framed in the movie aspect ratio. I think there's still needs to be some more footage for a decent 'b' story running parallel with the main 'a' story though.

I'd take elements fromt he film but scrap most of it since the story goes nowhere interesting really. Aside from that I'd trim a LOT of battle droid dialogue - ie: remove the jokes but keep important lines, as well as cutting a lot of the lines that are obvious attempts at Original Trilogy references. - They are less of a subtle wink and more of a sharp elbow to the ribs.

Yellow. Although iirc it tends to vary a bit.

There are things i like about the show and things i don't, at the end of the day it's something i choose to keep an eye on.  It's not the personal feelings that bother me. It's the e-bashing of each other over something that just isn't worth it.

It's a great message board, and I hope you can join to talk SW!  Last night, after our mommies made us finish our vegetables at dinner, we were allowed to hang out at Johnny's house and we watched the Clone Wars show.  It was AWESOME!!!!  Lots of action!!!  Tons of CGI!!!  But we are waiting for Jar Jar Binks, as I can't wait til he makes his first appearance, cause he is so fricking funny!!!  Gotta go to study now, got a big test on fractions on Monday:)

The more I look at this the more i think it might be well possible with actual footage. If you can tweak things enough via colour correction and such then you might be able to get a good look simly working with redoing the actual eyeballs. It'd be very tedious but possible.That is - purely going for a more 'ESB' look to the character. at least as a base i guess...

Yeah I went a bought Razor already but given the previous releases we've had here in OZ i wouldn't be suprised if we don't get it again. I think the most we've ever gotten her in Region 4 is a handful of deleted scenes and the miniseries had a brief behind the scenes video. no extended 'unfinished business' / no webisodes... :(

Seems like they are just padding out a short season release with incentives to buy it re: razor. The question is - Will there be a full season 4 set at some point down the track, Rather than a 4.0 set and a 4.5 set.

what was annoying is that I went to a local video store chain [video ezy] to pick up a copy of Razor. They said they had it and searched top to bottom, could not locate a single copy for me. found it elsewhere, went back a few days later and it was prominently displayed on the front counter.
