Wait, who's this Kenny Baker guy? And what do you mean, "inside R2?" There's nothing in there but good old-fashioned Naboo electronics.
Don't be too shocked by this picture then, Ric...
Not sure if R2D2 has his dome replaced with a prosthetic head at some point, or he was scrapped and his body rented out as living space...
Davros?
General Grievous.
I find I'm happier when I don't read star wars novels, That's just me though. Maybe I'll wiki it...
I would like everyone to know that Swiss Cheese has a lot of holes.
Well i guess there is a connection between the PT and cheese.
Wasnt wild about the continuity flaw introduced about the Kaibur crystal.
How so? Never heard of it before.
As someone who liked the first season I thought it [premiere] was pretty bland - especially after the great teasers and promos for season 2.
I've got a bad feeling they'll just have Cad Bane fill GG's usually pointless role.
I will not be using Into the Hood at all
Under the hood, surely? ;)
I can't recall if this has come up, but are you planning to do anything about the green tint on the film? Re-watching I'm noticing that while at some points it is subtle, at other points it really stands out.
Well as long as the experience isn't completely jarring, then it should be great.
Sounds interesting. Care to explain the title?
[sorry if you already answered this but] Are you planning to 'pause' the film to cut away to BTS footage, or more of a picture in picture style presentation? or am I way wrong?
No you're not, we've seen your FaceBook page.
The teasers for season 2 actually look pretty interesting. I just hope it all goes somewhere...The clone wars [in universe] only ran for about 3 years, right?
That's not true. That's IMPOSSIBLE!
working on a 3d concept - I'd appreciate if anyone with Anaglyph 3d glasses [red / cyan] could take a look and get back to me. The image isn't perfect, just fine tuning some ideas / methods.
Also put together a short list of Fonts i want to include. I decided to take a cue from Tarantino and use different fonts for each of the main acts. - There will still be continuity on things that matter, though.
concept idea - i'll probably go with something much rougher in the end, style wise.
Keeping the font used in the film, but restricted to use only when necessary. The characters general say where they are so there's no need for redundant details. And the opening scene appears out of context so day and date should help.
The rest of the shots are UNFINISHED concepts for the [planned] opening sequence. I plan to add some haze and other subtle things, Mainly i've been working on the colours here. I'm also planning on giving the colouring a bit of a stylized look after I get it all to a look I'm happy with.
I'll work on applying Grindhouse style visuals once of got things laid out properly so that they add to the experience, rather than detract from it. At the end of the day, it has to be enjoyable or there's really no point to it all.
So, working on the edit for the first time in a few weeks and I decided to go take a look at the Posessed recut of doom and see how they handled a few things.
Now, as is often the case when I talk about the 'other' Doom fanedit I come across as negative. Which really isn't the case, But this is something that has me completely baffled. Anyone have any ideas?
Safe to say I'm not 'stealing' any ideas - I've got something of my own that I'm hoping will work out. Trying to really condense down the intro and get into the story.

"Count Dooku was once a Jedi. He couldn't assassinate anyone. It's not in his character."
Excellent example of that!
Good job :D

Yeah, Dooku was interesting when he seemed to stand for something, but when he started twirling sabers and showboating I lost interest fast. Good work!
at least that gives a good reason for the blinds to be closed on the windows.
Looks great, and looks like it should. Looks closer to holograms we see in the other films.

Why not film your own arm again?
that looks amazing. Great work guys!
hey man, nice shot.
The Yavin sky looks much improved, and i love the added lookout tower.
The mock-up with the imperial ship and the dish looks amazing. Can't stop looking at it.
That said, maybe you should try a motion test? - the mockups look incredible as usual.
Yeah, throw together some concept pics maybe?
I was very interested when Blomkamp and Jackson were attached. Now I'm not interested at all - in fact I predict that it'll be terrible or a popcorn film at best.
Those shots look great.
