This is becoming a story of epic proportions. Dibs on the film rights!
@ Skyjedi2005 - Yes, it appears so.
@ Moth3r - I agree.
twirling around leaving your vulnerable areas unguarded looks flashy in fast motion but doesn't really work that well.
still, it's good to see people being creative.
what's the context? - would it be appropriate to go with something funny?
Or would you want something really dramatic?...
maybe do as George Lucas does - when you're stuck for a name go back to early Star Wars drafts and pull out something that never got used originally...
Plans - Birds of Tokyo.
Just curious, Do you guys tend to listen to Australian music much / often?
well, Tarkin always was a cocky cock.
Should be interesting to see where things go - the seasons gotta be fast approaching it's end now...
While I don't dispute that carbon freezing people might be an accepted convention, it was still kind of lame as CW plot point.
how's that working out for you?
made a pizza with Chicken, Asparagus and Potato.
also meal replacement shakes to up my protein / fibre intake - they taste like dirt.
I enjoy it for the animation but the stories could and should be better. they need to drop the 3 episode story arcs because often the episodes don't feel like they've been worth watching on their own. you're watching 30 minutes [or 22 minutes] of a longer story.
I usually watch it of a saturday mid morning along with some sitcoms and what not so It's a bit of fun but not much more.
I feel like they are starting to realise what they have at their disposal and once all the bad ideas are exhausted they'll start being more creative - as they have been in the past [in small doses]
I feel like they should have cast Matt Lanter in the PT as Anakin as he plays the character much more convincingly - and even looks the part.
Metropia.

the acting sucked but it's well worth watching for the visuals.
That's a tough one, I tend to go through phases.
my favourite movie right now is probably True Grit but I'm sure that will change soon enough.
that's all anyone has seen.
Maybe they should have gone back and set it a few decades ago. make it like Mad Men but gritty? - and have alien tech not just be magic ala spray on skin etc.
It's okay but not great, I've been keeping up with it.
the show feels like they've taken a short story and attempted to pad it out by stalling key events.
and on top of that it feels uneven from episode to episode - sometimes it's ramdomly gorey, sometimes it's a thriller, sometimes it's a family drama...
I think it would have been much more interesting if they'd focused more on one key area, say the Fith column, and the audience only knew what they did.
I'm there but I rarely ever post anything, i'm always constantly revising my stuff.
Still, I love DA and it's a great source of inspiration.
That's an interesting idea actually.
What's your view on 2001? [if you've seen it]
I only saw 2010 recently and discovered that [at least] in my social circle people generally really enjoyed one or the other, but not both. I prefer 2010.
watched Roger Corman's galaxy of terror - it's craptastic.
Next I plan to see Roger Corman's Fantastic Four - as terrible as it looks i'm actually looking forward to it.

Wasn't sure what that was by the name so I googled it. Sounds tasty indeed. Might have to have a go at making one, maybe on the weekend.
Was yours home made or store bought?
home made!!!
Now I want another one.
Rootbeer and a handful of Doritos.
care to share your personal recipe?
Plus it has Tron in it [later on]. Did anyone ever see the short lived spin-off? Crusade. I think about 3 people liked it, myself included.
Finished watching Terriers. loved it. On to more Tim Minear stuff shortly.
GozerBusters?
as in Gozer the Gozerian.
They like to really draw out some of those mysteries - sometimes you wont even get an answer.
It was a great show that just happened to go off the rails a bit and jump some sharks.
okay, Every time Gaffer Tape says DS9 - we drink!
Tim will probably have a new series started and cancelled by the time I get up to speed.
Have you seen Terriers? it has a lbunch of 'that guy' moments.
Since my last post I watched some Farscape - I'm nearing the end of season 1 now.
It's far too hot at the moment to do much else. Circa 40 degrees [celsius]
I'll add it to the list.
I saw some of marble hornets but keep straying, maybe there should be a marble hornets thread [if there isn't already on].
Terriers.
Making my way through a "cancelled shows made by Tim Minear" marathon.
Watched Dollhouse, watching Terriers, next up is Drive, then maybe a re-watch of Firefly.

He seems to look the part enough.
Although I hated Superman Returns, I thought Brandon Routh did a decent enough job with what he had to work with. I don't see why they couldn't use him again.
I mean, Sean Connery played the same character [James Bond] in Thunderball and Never say never again...for example.
the killing moon - echo and the bunnymen.
A lot of this has already been covered in an edit I'm working on, You might like to take a look there for ideas and such.

I think someone else here was also working on an edit but I don't know the state of that.
Mine has been on hold for a bit of a while as I tackle other things and I just don't know when it will be done. Maybe we could combine our ideas in a joint venture?
