a 3-in-1 Trilogy dvd cover for the 1992 Special Widescreen Edition Laserdisc Set…

link - http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z28/maplefootball/Star-Wars-1992SWE-OT-DVD-Cover-1_zpsvgz0svbd.jpg

^ It is based on AvP’s superb dvd cover and disc art, as seen in here - http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/STAR-WARS-Special-Widescreen-Edition-Technidisc/id/13263.

It’s another quick ‘cut n paste’ MS paint effort - but hopefully it’ll do the job - or give ideas for someone to do a better or alternative cover - the more the merrier for an underrated set and some cool artwork.

The artwork above (and any of my stuff) can also be found on a googledrive here - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0ByfjLkYDj7bRcFo4RHkzbmV6RU0?usp=sharing - please feel free to view, download, use, edit any of it - and vastly improve upon it 😃

I know Althor did a 3n1 for BD25 and it would be cool to see a version of this for that.

Thanks for this Jason, ver cool.

No worries mate - please let me know the link to Althor’s cover - or which thread it may be in, thanks 😃

Sorry, I meant he did a 3 n 1 BD25, it did not have any artwork. That is why I was thinking that using the DVD one to base a bluray one off of. His 3 n 1 was for the JSC set, not the Special Widescreen Edition.

I have a Special Widescreen Edition set of Mistubishi LD’s but that one does not have any artwork either. I’m all confuzzled today, LOL.

Anyone know a good idea for a first date in high school? I want to be able to talk (not a movie) but I still want an activity to focus on if a conversation goes dead for a little bit.

Also, make your self accessible to her parents, polite conversation and them seeing you does help.

Agreed, but maybe not for the very first date. Play that by ear, but be accommodating to them.

I probably should have added that this would be good if the date goes well for both of them and they decide that future dates are in order.

I’m sorry about Possessed is talking about. It really makes me sad just to read it.

Good news: Whatever they removed from grandfather is benign, thank God. He’s old, but hopefully he has years left in him.

Bad news: The lease expired and my parents had to borrow $700 from to make a down-payment on my dad’s new car. I’m trying to think of a non-asshole way to tell them they need to pay me back at some point. My dad lost his job. I understand it will be a while. It’s a hard time. We can barely make ends meet, and I’m doing what I can with my shitty job. My OCD spiked up again today. I’m trying the psychiatrist again on my next day off. I need to speak to the doctor because I’m worried about the side effects; Klonopin is making me sleep through my days off and I’m really concerned about the weight gain from the Abilify that I haven’t started it yet. Hopefully he won’t be pissed. Work is hell, as usual. The OCD really got worse today after a better patch. Fighting with my parents is so not what I need right now, but everything is so tense with the financial situation. The drugs have completely killed my libido, which is a whole separate thing. I’m worried about Possessed, I wish I had some good advice.

I know I’ve mentioned this probably somewhere here but, in case it helps, survival can be the toughest challenge there is. The fact that you are still here proves that you do have the ability to manage and pull through.

Just the kind of drug you want the guy that is in charge of our nukes to be taking.

There are certain safeguards in place to keep this from being as simple as someone walking in and pushing a button. I mean you talk like he’s the only one with the codes and the combination to the toilet paper safe they’re kept in, LOL.

I’m also glad to see making fun of people who take medication and suffer from side effects is still alive and well. It makes me feel like dancing.

😃

That scene in The Dead Zone would seem to bear that out. 😉

I don’t know, ordering the strike (as seen in a vision) and having the codes to do it by yourself, are two somewhat different scenarios. I get where you were going with it though.

It’s an awesome movie for sure.

I’m going to repeat the entire column here because it’s short, but also because the consistency in the paragraphs is admirable.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, is speaking out against Trump’s ban on refugees and on all entry from seven majority-Muslim countries. While NBA representatives have been vocal in expressing their disapproval of the ban, the NFL has been mostly silent—making Khan’s voice a prominent one.

Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, is himself Muslim. He told the New York Times he had expected Trump to be more moderate upon entering office and praised the court system for blocking the ban.

Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, is himself an immigrant. He told the paper that the ban is “not good” and that he believes immigration is the “bedrock of our country.” The Jaguars owner was born in Pakistan and arrived in the U.S. in 1967.

Khan, a registered Republican who voted for Donald Trump, also spoke of his support for a human rights ordinance in Jacksonville that would make it illegal to discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community. That law—similar to those in more than 20 other cities—has been consistently rejected by Republican politicians in that city.

Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, also told the Times he is a strong proponent of NAFTA and that he opposes Trump’s attempts to repeal it.

I noticed at the bottom of that article somebody had posted…

Exactly. Khan, like most Republicans, doesn’t care about what happens to others as long as his particular issue is supported/left untouched. It’s only when it hits home that he gets it. Lack of empathy is the bedrock of the Republican platform.

Medication for a life-threatening condition that causes negative side effects is unfortunate. Medication for a lack of self-esteem and inability to deal with natural aging that might cause you to rant like a loon and possibly destroy the country is worthy of mocking. We all know you’re going bald, Donald. Just accept it and quit taking the pills.

There are a lot of men in lesser places than Trump that take the medication so are they all worthy of mocking or just Trump cuz he’s Trump?

Are they running a country? Are they potentially endangering the lives of others for the sake of their own vanity?

They might be in some capacity, LOL, or at least think they are.

Maybe a George Webbs style first date. Simple, inexpensive, and an opportunity to converse naturally. I agree that Mini-Golf can be a really fun and relaxing way to get the night started. Breaks the ice some.

Have her home early too (10-15 minutes), Mom’s dig that, because they rule the roost. Also, make your self accessible to her parents, polite conversation and them seeing you does help.

There are a lot of men in lesser places than Trump that take the medication so are they all worthy of mocking or just Trump cuz he’s Trump?

Here is a little note in the article that FF posted …

For both drugs, the effects on hair loss were discovered by accident, when patients were taking them for other reasons. Minoxidil, in pill form, was used to treat high blood pressure, and finasteride was prescribed for prostate enlargement. But balding patients noticed that some hair grew back.

Finasteride can have side effects, including decreased sex drive, erectile problems and a decreased volume of ejaculate. But those reactions are not common, affecting less than 2 percent of the men in studies. The only way he’d be suffering the other stuff is if he was taking like 5X the normal doseage.

Dr. Alexis said he warns patients about the potential problems, and that some men decline the drug as a result. But many decide to try it, and they generally stick with it, he said.

The drug also carries a warning that men 55 and over who take it may have an increased risk of an aggressive type of prostate cancer. But the warning is based on studies of a dose five times higher than the dose used for hair loss. The higher dose is used to treat enlarged prostates.

The risk, if any, for men taking the smaller dose is not known, Dr. Alexis said.

Something to note on these “side-effects” … I read a few different articles and the facts seem to be a bit jumbled making it difficult to know exactly which set of stats are most accurate.

Is Trump the rider or the clown?

That remains to be seen. Right now, I tend to see him as the rider, where others obviously think he’s the clown. For what it’s worth, I just want things to be as good as they can for all Americans.

I realize I’m essentially a nonentity here, too, but I need to get this off my chest and hopefully someone here might offer some good advice. This forum has been my social life for a few weeks now, to give you some idea where I am.

If anyone here is a nonentity (no wise-acher comments please), it’s me, so don’t sell yourself short. Not everyone finds their stride at the same time and place. As long as you stay true to yourself, the rest will fall in to place, as it should. It can be hard to admit to for sure, but whether it matters to anyone else or not, what matters to you is important.

I happen to find your presence here very refreshing. Thanks for being you.
