Same. From what I’ve heard the story seems like it will be a natural progression of the story we got in Season 1 and I couldn’t be happier. I’m still worried that they might have let the success of the show cloud their judgement in certain aspects but they’re already thinking about Season 3 and beyond which means they were probably thinking about Season 2 while writing the first Season. That’s pretty endearing imo

The first Batman v Bane fight in TDKR was grueling to watch from an emotional standpoint. It makes Vader’s domination of Luke during their duel on Bespin look almost infantile in comparison. Reason being is that even though Batman was out of his prime he was still a very capable combatant as showcased moments before and to not only have him broken but belittled during their fight illustrated how deep in shit Batman was. All of the tricks he used on the uninitiated were either nullified or used against him and even before he resorted to using smoke bombs and the shadows he knew he was beaten. That primal yell he let out towards the middle of the fight conveys a stronger message than words ever could. To cap it all off shortly there after Bane reveals he is there to fulfill Ra’s Al Ghul’s destiny which at that stage in the fight much have exacerbated the impending dread 1000 fold. Not only does he have to deal with the reality of inexorable death he now knows the same man will bring death to millions of innocents and there’s nothing he can do about it as he was already near the limits of his durability. It was pretty heartbreaking to see Bruce to go through that but that along with his failures escaping it made his ascendancy a standout moment in a great trilogy.

Bane was not uninitiated though.

Exactly. Theatricality and deception were ineffective against him which made him a great foil to Batman. That’s not even including them both being master strategists which is something else that makes them great foils to each other.

I misunderstood part of what you wrote, sorry.

ICE: Case worked its way through system.

ICE officials, however, said the case had been working its way through the system and that the time for Garcia de Rayos to be deported had come. “Ms. Garcia’s immigration case underwent review at multiple levels of the immigration court system, including the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the judges held she did not have a legal basis to remain in the U.S.,” ICE said in a statement. “ICE will continue to focus on identifying and removing individuals with felony convictions who have final orders of removal issued by the nation’s immigration courts.”

In addition, the new trend of not wearing socks with shoes is stupid.

Where on Earth is that a new trend? LOL

mostly concentrated on the green and brownish bits. never really caught on in the bluey whiteish areas.

Weird because I know white people (presumably that is what your comment is referrencing) that do this.

In his first call as president with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump denounced a treaty that caps U.S. and Russian deployment of nuclear warheads as a bad deal for the United States, according to two U.S. officials and one former U.S. official with knowledge of the call.

When Putin raised the possibility of extending the 2010 treaty, known as New START, Trump paused to ask his aides in an aside what the treaty was, these sources said.

[slams head into desk repeatedly]

Don’t worry Frink… it’s Reuters so I’m sure DT will confirm that it’s fake news.

Oddly enough …

Here is a blurb from almost the same identical article …

“presuming it’s accurate (both Rohde and Landay are skilled veterans of the national-security beat, and the White House has declined to comment on the report both to Reuters and when asked during a subsequent press briefing).”

For the Trump supporters here… do you support his stand on asset forfeiture? I understand that it is pro-law-enforcement, but isn’t it also against conservative ideals on personal property and limits on government power?

It is my belief that law enforcement should at least be able to put a legal hold on property until they can ascertain the validity of the legal issue. This way it would protect the interest of each side while allowing the process to work as intended. I believe that the intent of his stand is to take the burden off of the taxpayers.

In any case, the creepy ass remarks Trump has made over time that inspired that line speak for themselves.

You would think so, but based on some of the posts in this thread apparently it’s cool, if not actually a compliment, to creep on your daughter.

Your attempt to ignore me by using subtle but shitty referrences to refer to me are pointless and cowardly. I believe people like you were once referred to as “spin doctors” and if I remember correctly being to referred to as such is never a compliment when it is used to describe someone.

NSA contractor indicted over mammoth theft of classified data. I talked about this in the past and got pooh-poohed for not knowing what the feck I was talking about. This is most likely what enabled the DNC/Clinton hack and possibly what helped WikiLeaks gain access to such information. No Russian Hackers needed when this happens.

Yet Trumpy implored those Russian hackers during the election to find more emails.

There is nothing illegal or immoral about using sarcasm … if it was, all of us would have been drawn and quartered long ago, LOL.

Tell that to the Piranha Brothers. 😉

Now those are some funny guys … 😃

Well Trump is showing himself to be trigger happy and extremely dangerous to our servicemen and women. Scary!

"Over dinner, told that Obama wouldn’t launch the attack in Yemen (because they didn’t have enough intel), Trump decided to go for it.

An unmitigated disaster. 30 women and children were slaughtered by our troops, the primary target of the raid was not captured, a Navy SEAL was shot and killed, 3 other SEALs were injured, and we left behind a $70 million helicopter.

NOW, today, Yemen has announced it will no longer allow the US to have any military actions in the country - making us all less safe. "

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/trump-launched-yemen-raid-told-obama-wouldn-article-1.2966736?cid=bitly

And anyone who dares ask difficult questions about that raid is now accused of disrespecting the Navy SEAL who died.

The helicopter was scuttled, (by our troops) so nobody nefarious is going to be salvaging anything from it.

I do remember them saying it was scuttled. What I don’t remember them saying was that they went in looking to kill any innocent people. They went in for intel and they did get it but it came at a high price. I have not read anywhere that they were celebrating these deaths. The hard questions need to be asked as far as I’m concerned. It makes good sense.

I don’t think anyone wanted civilian deaths either. It’s still being shrugged off as “collateral damage”.

This is how it is portrayed in Politically Correct Land. War has always been messy. That is not the fault of Donald Trump and his staff. It is an unpleasant historical fact. I don’t like it but it will be used as a media stepping stone for justification of their divisive opinions. Anything for ratings unfortunately.

I see some people are still having trouble separating the First Wife and the First Daughter. Considering how Trump lusts after both, I certainly understand.

F%#king nasty a$$ comment.

😦

Finkle’s reprehensible remark is just a smug allusion to a theme popularized by the vile, deranged arrested-adolescent cretins currently running the Daily Show, where all during the campaign the host repeated nightly that Trump “wants to fuck his daughter.” They would seriously sign off the air with that line, the pretty-boy host grinning lubriciously and delivering it with maliciously ironic gusto, the travesty of a plucky campaign slogan.
This is the deeply depraved level of leftist discourse at present.
Best to just get used to it.

I’ve noticed this behavior quite often. And he complains how Trump is so nasty. LOL Takes one to know one I guess.

😉

I’ll admit I was wrong, it was his daughter that had the clothes line, but it was his wife who won a lawsuit because she can’t bank on her brand as well as she’d like.

Libel is a legal matter that could cost any business millions of dollars, not just Mrs. Trump. Get a clue.

Libel is bad, yes, but she’s not a business. She’s a potential business because of her position as the First Lady. And isn’t badmouthing a corporation a form of libel? Sure, Nordstrom’s stock went up, but they can probably sue for the tweet.

The stock actually went down immediately after the tweet, then recovered.

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/nordstrom-recovers-from-trumps-terrible-tweet-in-just-4-minutes-2017-02-08

White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Wednesday that Trump had every right to tweet at Nordstrom, as the tweet wasn’t about promoting a family business but defending his daughter against an attack.

Here’s the brutal attack:

Early last Friday, Nordstrom said it would stop selling the Ivanka Trump brand but said the move was purely a business decision and not one based on protests or any other political reason. The company told MarketWatch that it culls about 10% of the brands it carries every year. Based on the Ivanka brand’s performance, it said, “we’ve decided not to buy it for this season.”

First, this is old news already. Secondly, since she won the litigation, she must have provided the facts to prove her case.

Time to move on methinks.
