The paper rings around the reels are something different, they will identify the studio, sometimes the lab, sometimes other info. If the prints had them intact, and the team has any pictures of them, they might hold a clue as to the origin and purpose of the print. I've already said why I don't think it was for TV broadcast.
The "Frinks" don't just come out at night around here.

Good eye ender ..... apparently Frink's intelligence radar was out of commission. I was thinking second to last actually. Jerry Lewis was probably the ultimate class clown. In the end it certainly didn't help him in real life. If Frink was a decent person here, no-one would pay any real attention to him and it is obvious that he does not like "not" being seen. He craves the attention and goes most any length to get it. I laugh at him, not with him, and that is not a compliment where I come from.

I happened across a TNG LD for $2.99, it has Yesterday's Enterprise and The Offspring. These are 2 of my favorite TNG episodes to this day. Definitely a treat for me.
I have found Titan A.E. & X-Men 3 (finally). I have updated post #1 to reflect this.

A little bit OT, but as we were talking about Spawn... do the two Todd McFarlane Spawn animation features (one and two) exist on DVD or BD?
They exist on DVD, which I have, and I believe seasons 1 & 2 are on LD.

Yeah, I just saw one on eBay so the DC does have. It would be just what I need.
The CAV set I just got looks really nice. They are TOHO discs. The booklet that came with it was fun as is the bonus LD with interviews with Todd McFarlane and a 30 minute making of special.
Now it's MY turn to ask a question ...... LOL.
Does anyone here have Spawn The Movie on LD with DTS? I'd like to get a bit perfect rip of the audio to use. I'm just trying to remember if the DTS LD was the Director's Cut or the Theatrical. I just got my Japan 3 LD Box of Spawn and it looks better than the DVD. Only minor issue is the japan subtitles are in frame. Other than that, I think it could still make a nice alternate version.

As for the hatchet being buried. From all I've read, Frink buries the hatchet with no-one, it's what keeps him going and he is allowed, even encouraged by some to do so. I tried once and he refused ..... so I do what now, bow to him? It takes two and the way I see it he's the guy who plays nice while his fingers are crossed behind his back. I'm not like that. The off topic section isn't an exclusive playground for the OT elite .... it's for everyone.
