I'm totally okay with people wanting threads of their own where like-minded people can discuss the issue.  When other members start trolling those threads it should be time for a mod to put the hammer down.  I know it says (Un-moderated) but there are rules against trolling and disrespecting other members so it shouldn't be that difficult to see and curtail.

He is not "commanding" anything, he just wants to post pictures and such that relay his feelings about his religion .... it is "your" will that does not want to allow him any quarter due to either the type of person you are, your dislike of his particular religion, or both.  Either way, you just couldn't let him be, you had to antagonize because you are spiteful.

The less forum friendly we become, the more people are going to decide to leave.  We all have opinions but the point is everyone signed up here has a right to be in any part of the forum they want .... that is why it's a forum.  

Look, Frink and I don't always see things the same but the internet is cold and translating peoples intention through words they type is about as easy as finding "a paticular needle in a haystack of needles" unless you know them SO well that you just know.  Learning to co-exist is part and parcel to being a forum member, anywhere, if one cannot come to terms with this reality one must question what it is they really want from a forum.

With or without any "said" petition, him coming back to the off-topic forum is going to be his choice, "IR"regardless of what is said here.

I say let it go and let him do what it is he needs to do.

I am only signing in support of him.  I won't begrudge him if he decides to stay gone.   I understand why he might not want to come back.  It DOES get lame round these parts ..... fun is still being had but not at the level it could be.

I hope Bingo is well regardless of his choice.
