You KNOW you want to do it ........ LOL

your demand that you have the right to do whatever you want in an unmoderated forum
Let's be fair here, shall we? I did no such thing. Unless using the thread's primary function qualifies as "doing whatever one wants"?
I only reminded a particular person that he cannot expect people not to utilise thread's primary function. I was even so considerate that I actually respected his unwarranted demands and did not debate or comment the content itself.
Shoe on the other foot ey imperial? Sooooooooo ..... if you didn't do that, Warbler didn't command or demand anything.
Problem solved.
I love irony.
A 50GB disc contains more than just video ..... there are the audio selections, commentary, languages and special features (if any) so even when a movie is released on a 50GB disc, it is NOT 50GB worth of movie .... they use it to give the video more room ..... other than that, you're getting stuff on a 50GB disc.
LOL

If it's a good orchestra, would anyone be able to hear the difference?
Fanatical audiophiles with ultrasonic hearing will. ;-)
Indeed ...... and I'm sure they'll be the first to let us all here know too.

Don't know if anyone saw this or not yet .....

How much of that is accurate, and how much of it was invented after Christianity developed?
What if God was one of us?
If so, you better pray that the bus he's riding while she's singing that song, doesn't hit a puddle and soil your favorite Sunday dress.

He is not "commanding" anything
Actually he was. Go read his first post...
I read this ...... first post in that thread ....
Warbler's Christian thread. This is a thread for me post Christian thoughts and pics and stuff like that. I do not wish this to be a thread to debate religion. Feel free to debate religion and Christianity and, but please do so in another thread. Please keep anti-relgion and anti-christian and disrespectfull stuff and mockery out of the this thread. I thank you in advance for doing so.
There is NO DEMAND or COMMAND anywhere to be found. You sir, are seeing what you want to see, in order to justify your "technical issue" postings.
If you are a decent person like you say you are you would apologize to Warbler.
imperialscum said:
As I already explained numerous times by now, when it comes to Warler's thread I simply argued that he cannot demand from people to not use the primary function of the thread.
You use the word "demand" again. Warbler demanded nothing. He clearly stated his intentions for the thread and asked that people NOT do what you did. You CHOSE to misinterpret his wishes so you could do what you did ..... that is how I see it based on your use of the word "demand" for a second time when referring to Warb & his thread.

just wondering if you still have any avail , i am interested for sure
Looking at the date of the last post should have been a clue this thread has been dormant for some time now. There are, as danfun has pointed out, far better transfers of video and audio done since then.
If you browse these sections first you'll get familiar with what is available and possibilities on how to acquire them.
Welcome to the forum.

I recorded the three episodes on DVD-RW on RAI3 (or RAITRE) and they are (still) not available online; if there is some interest, I could upload them somewhere!
There is a guy on AVS forum who claims to have recorded the SE broadcast on to D-VHS tapes. I tried briefly to see if he would at least share captures of the tapes but he went silent rather quickly after stating he would not share them.
:(
_,,,^..^,,,_ said:
No problems to share them; the fact is, quality is quite rough, plus is 2:1 and so it has cropped sides, plus it's only in Italian... do you want it "raw" or with some filters applied?
As you see fit sir. I have the 5.1 AC3 from the LD's that could be synched to them in addition to the Italian.
If you want time to sort them out a bit, make them more presentable, I can certainly wait.

I would certainly LOVE to have them, if of course, you would be kind enough to share them Andrea ..... hint, hint.

I KNOW the TB & Flunk are 1997 SE, for sure.

I misspoke above .... the TB set and the Flunk DVD9 ANH are the only ones I have.
Jedit:
The TB set also included TPM from Canal.

Most HDTV transfers are the 2004se. If you're lucky, it's the 97se, but those are rare. As the 2011se is mostly based on the 2004se, I doubt there is a significant quality difference.
As far as I know the ONLY SE TV release is the TB set. I believe it is pre-HD and they are only available in DVD5 format. I would have loved at least DVD9.
I believe the Sky Broadcasts of Star Trek 1 thru 6 might be nicer, no obvious use of DVNR compared to the Blu-rays.

I have the Star Trek Movies 1-6 SkyHD caps. They are h264 with Dolby Digital 5.1. Unlike the Blu-ray's, they don't suffer from DNR and IMO have the original theatrical colors.
You have a pm. I am hoping to get the usenet titles from you again for another search.
Thanks
pm received, thank you kindly.

Everywhere else i have been online you need to be screened before posting and are banned immediately for troublemaking or trollery.
If we take this thread as sample, I don't see any post that would qualify for a ban (according to sane standards of of course). Except maybe for posts I quoted from other threads where people called me an idiot.
You don't see it because you see no problem with what you did.
You were personal about going after warbler, it wasn't just some random surprise post, your intentions seem to come through quite clear ... which do equal troublemaking and trollery .... like a cat that plays with a mouse before it kills it.
I don't know you well enough to say anything more than you seem to have a serious issue with Christianity and possibly warbler.
Feel what you will about Christianity but when it comes to warbler, I believe you owe him an apology.

Someone here had sent me names of what to look for when searching for the Sky HDTV broadcasts in the newsgroups. It seems I have deleted that pm and was hoping whomever it was will see this and post them here so I can try snagging them again. My hd got a bit scrambled and when I recovered it those movies were in nameless file pieces.
I have these three ....
stins.dts
stgen.dts
stfc.dts
Thanks.
