Has some poor soul out there got a 35mm print of TPM?

Not to sound like a broken record but some of you really need to get around the forum a bit and read.  Us old timers have to do it to keep up, you should too.

I'm the one you should be calling a broken record with all these questions I've been asking in the threads lately. I'll try to lurk moar. Thanks.

I'm not saying "disappear in to the woodwork" for a while.  Just peruse the forum and read, you'll find most of your answers.  It is the best way to learn the ropes here.

Good hunting .....

:)

The Phantom Menace Cinema DTS Audio Track (Now Available in DTS-HD) (Released)

Alright the corrected 48khz release should be hitting the web soon.

I will say that unless you are intending to watch/release on a disc format, the 44.1khz files are fine and are technically truer to the original source.

However, due to some friends that have far deeper pockets to fill their PCs with cool software than I do - I am releasing this as a full DTS-HD track (and a 448kbps AC3 for DVD releases.)

This is cool because I can have both. Thanks for your hard work on this.

Will you include the Adywan reconstruction with it? I don't want to have to download two torrents if I don't have to because of ratio BS (even if it is minute).

Ratio is part of the deal if you want to torrent.  Why make the uploader work harder when they are the one supplying the goods?

Now if only somebody would upload his ESB 1080p '97 SE Reconstruction.

As far as I know even Adywan hasn't uploaded this yet because I don't believe he's gotten to it though I could be wrong.

Slightly OT:

Any plans for a 2.35 Interstellar?

Not by me :)

Saw it the other week and it would be great if somebody did a 2:35 version.

Yep!

just finished today the sony vegas project for Interstellar letterbox theatrical reconstruction!!! I followed a pirate version filmed directly from the silver screen and cropped all the imax scene to the correct position/ camera movement etc.. My fingers hurts so bad...

But i have a problem. I used as source an mkv file converted with noob programs to some shitty file that vegas could handle... audio too has terrible lossy quality.I don't have Blu-Ray on my pc and can't rip myself audio and video out from it.
.. i need a source file as much unaltered as i can... if somebody can help me...

Greetings from italy!

paoloreboldi and budwhite, you should really start your own thread.  Thanks.

I had a major facepalm moment on this. The ac3 and dts files i releases were 44.1khz... Which, while representative of the original sampling frequency, is not compliant with dvd or bluray specs. As such, i will release one more torrent of this. However, it will take a couple days because i believe i need to do the 48khz conversion prior to the the speed conversion and aligning to retain as much of the original audio as possible. I may even compile my master track at 64 bit 192khz for maximum retention, which the lossy files will then be generated from. However I fear this may be too much and introduce anomalies. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd stick with 16/48 ..... it should stay as close as it needs to at that.  I heard stuff while listening and watching yesterday that I never heard before so it was a great experience.

I noticed the 16/44 but hadn't had the chance to say anything because I was too engrossed in the soundmix I was hearing, LOL.

Thanks for taking this one on.  I look forward to the others from you.

This ld-decode, can anyone test this out?  Is it actual software or just a script for AVIsynth which I have NO good clue about using, LOL?

happycube (the author) and althor1138 both have working ld-decode setups. It's a standalone program, not an Avisynth script. It also requires special capturing hardware and an LD player mod at this point in time.

Thanks for the clarification Ant .....  Most appreciated.

Do we have a bit perfect audio capture from this LD anywhere?

Actually yes, I have a rip I did of the Japanese LD which (as far as I know) was the only release to have digital sound. I can upload it if anyone's interested.

May I be the first to say yes please!!!  Thank you kindly for offering to share.  This is good news.
