I figured since everyone is bumping old threads to get rid of the other threads I’d join in. As I looked through old threads there were so many either started by Frink or with Frink being the last poster in them that I couldn’t rightfully bump any of them.

There “is” an old thread, created by you I believe, that was a not so well thought out attempt at an April Fools Joke. In it Frink said something about wanting to see a “Mock Turtleneck” thread.

So … instead of bumping a crappy old thread I started a crappy new one.

I have the Special Collector’s Series VHS, the one with the Black cover for the 75th Anniversary, and I just got done capping it this evening. It is the same as the LD version of it but I certainly like the way the VHS picture looks.

You are most welcome. Myspleen was kind enough to allow it for that short time so I thank them as well. It got distributed to a bunch of folks who wanted it which means it’s out in the wild and available for hard core fans to get if they play their cards right, LOL.

I see you’ve only recently joined here. My suggestion to you is to slow down a bit. Asking for what you did openly isn’t really something that is encouraged due to legal reasons. As for the DC of TMP, I will be uploading my VHS cap of it soon.

I was the one who uploaded the SkyHD broadcast cap of ST II Director’s Cut. It was very nice looking and everyone who downloaded it was very happy to have it alongside the new release that was forthcoming at the time.

That being said, I am currently working on my Star Trek VHS Home Video Archive project. It’s really more of a personal thing but since I have the Special Collector’s Series of the first 3 films, the Widescreen VHS of TMP Director’s Cut, and so on I am going to do them as DVD companions to my collection. I just finished capping ST6 Special Home Video Version with the extra 3 minutes not seen in theater. It turned out nice. I am getting ready to do TMP from the SCS VHS.

I will keep you all posted.
