STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 <strong>REVISITED</strong> ADYWAN *<em>1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION</em>
Time
Well I’ve downloaded the other part and no luck at all, Gremlins. I’ll try this in the new year as I’m in a sticky position at the moment where I’ll be moving address hopefully around or before (December 20th 2007), so may the rest of you enjoy the videos that adywan has made for the (original trilogy community) and a merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all and thanks for helping me out with the computer, I shall now retire from doing any more, the files are saved on the computer I shall try sometime around the New Year around March time I guess?

I need to get a my (BT) line transferred when I have moved and that can be anywhere between a several weeks, so around (December 20th 2007) I will be officially offline at home that is, until I have a new home and new telephone line.

Thanks again all you’ve all been so kind.

Gotcha, but part three, made me, feel a little edgy, so once I click on part three how do I go about downloading the file? The layout is different from that last two.

Thanks, and hopefully LOL I’ll be able to view the videos within the next 40 minutes or so.

Again thanks for helping me out here.

And what the hell is that Michael Bay icon on your desktop???

LMAO I almost passed out with laughter with that comment you made. It’s a long but sort story that I’m slowly analyzing the differences in (loudness) between (Armageddon and Transformers) I doubt I’ll be finished with that until next sometime year.

Then so long as he didn't screw up saying the magic words, we could have been free of the lowercase writing, illiterate bad Dayv. But at a second glace at the names I realized it was {DoS}.

LOL in despair! I needed that laugh because so far I haven’t been able to adywan (Star Wars videos).

(Split personality disorder syndrome), I guess he’s been on the site too long and need to change identities for a while. Well I hope Moth3r deals with that Muppet of a (thing).

Thanks guys for the feedback and yes I do feel a little left out here, everyone on the site’s probably watched the videos be now.

Here’s a POV from my desk top to show what the (properties) of the file looked like, please pay no attention to the mess of the desk top, those files and programs have been added in the last day now. Its like “Houston, we have a problem”…

Which, (Windows) you’re going laugh at this. I’m using an old Compaq Deskpro computer from the 1990’s I think?

It’s got (XP millennium).

Okay I’ve applied the following, I selected Windows Media and I got this message.

“This file has an extension that is not recognized by (Windows Media Player), but the player may still be able to play it. Because the extension is unknown by the Player, you should be sure that the file comes from a trustworthy source.

Do you want to the Player to play the file?
Don’t as me again for this extension.
Yes NO”

So what do I do now?

Thanks.

Matt_Kenobi

Yes the file looks the same as the file that adywan told me to download (7.1).

I must be missing a vital step here I mean lacing up a 35mm projector was more easy for me 9 years ago than trying to work out the computer language. But I have to start somewhere and learn how to use this 21st century, technology.

Thanks.

Are you sure that you're opening the "mos clip new2.mpg" file? WMP should play MPG files with no problems at all. If you can't see the file extentions, the file's icon should look like WMP's icon, or the the program that opens your media file.

“Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play.”

For Pete’s sakes, is there anyway of playing this, file on this ancient computer of mine.

I feel like I’m stuck in Ground Hog Day living over some dreadful downloading error on this naff computer of mine. I must be getting close to viewing the file, I must be.

Okay I’m going to try using the Power DVD and see if that plays the file!

Well I’ve downloaded two so far haven’t seen as of yet. But now I have an issue with part 3 the link is not the same as the first two and now I’m starting to feel a little uncomfortable because when I first clicked on it I was getting news reel videos of (National Treasure part 2) and so on.

Okay, now that I’ve downloaded

Mos Eisley MPEG2 AC3 clilp rar 1- megaupload
Mos Eisley MPEG2 AC3 clilp rar 2- megaupload

Do I have to reformat the name of each file or do I select the Windows Media file and then look for the appropriate file or program in Windows Media to play the first part of Mos (Eisley MPEG2 AC3 clilp rar 1- megaupload)?

The video runs 4% fast because it is PAL.

And you can prolly get a codec for wmp/mpc/etc. at this Sourceforge page if you need one for XviD.

Molly

I’m from the UK and yes I don’t want to exceed the download limit for this month.

Thanks.

AuggieBenDoggie

I’m not sure if (BT) is going to get queer with me. (2000Kb) I exceed me download limit last month and they weren’t going to charge me for the (over limit) I just watch one and wait until next mouth, that is if I can get around to viewing it today.

I can understand it’s taken you days to make these videos but I’m not so good with computers or the different types of programs. It took me a while to figure out how to do a simple (video capture from DVD) and edit out the black bars top and bottom.

But this should be a simple thing to do and I’m just hopeless at this part. Just how, (user-friendly) is this file encoding system that you’ve been using because I’ve had (0 hours time) on it.

So once the file is saved to the pc what program shall I use?
Do I use DivX player
Do I use DivX converter
Do I use Mega manger
Do I use Windows Media
Do I use Power DVD

Which one of these shall I use, thank you?

The files i posted are totally user friendly. Just use windows media player to play the files. this works for both the xvid and mpeg2 versions

adywan

Every time I tried Windows I get a “ding”! And a rather simple message say unable to play file somewhere along those lines. What in the world am I doing wrong here, I must be getting to old for this. I’m so embarrassed.

Megavideo is something completely different. you cannot view these files online!

you want the files Adywan uploaded to Megaupload /rapidshare. For sites like this there are paid premium accounts and free accounts, If you go the free option you need to input the code and wait Approx 45 seconds, then you will be allowed access to download the file - you are limited to d/loading 1 file at a time, there are also limits like how many times a clip can be downloaded...

What you want is 3 files on your computer hard drive in the SAME location labeled
mosclipnew.part1.rar, mosclipnew.part2.rar, mosclipnew.part3.rar

you then need a program like winrar - you can get a fully working trial version if you don't have it - http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
select one of the rar files and choose to extract the contents. What you should end up with is a single Video file - as well as the 3 rar files.

to view the file i highly recommend using VLC media player - i'd advise against hunting for codecs if you are not too knowledgeable about those. You can get VLC from here if you don't have it - http://www.videolan.org/

you should not have to sign up for or register for anything! Hope that helps. If it doesn't then I'm at a loss.

Johnny Ringo

Thanks for the information I’ll give it a go once the tome has elapsed to try another attempt. Thank you.

Megavideo and Megaupload are two different sites. Ady loaded the .rar files on Megaupload. The steps to watching the videos are as follows:

1) Follow the steps to downloading the files of Megaupload.
2) Once you have the three .rar files on your desktop, use winrar to unpack them
3) Once unpacked, use WMP or VLC to view the video.

You've made the process more complicated than it actually is.

adywan

I hate to disagree with Tubes but I’m so close to (swinging from the chandelier) while everyone else is viewing them and enjoying them at the same time.

I must have downloaded LOL three different types of software in the past 2 ½ hours and waiting 200 minutes to wait for the next download LOL attempt is too much to bare. LOL it’s been a funny ole night, I bet, it’s those sodden Gremlins that’s why I can’t view it Gremlins.

You have no idea what you're doing or what it is you are asking. Adywan already gave you the "http links", as you put it. They're the 3 part video files. I know you're frustrated but there is little anyone can do for you if you can't follow simple instructions. Download the files, unpack them using winrar into one file, and play the mpg with WMP after you've installed the codec pack. Got it?

JediTemple70mm, which file are you attempting to watch. If its the main clip then you have unpacked it first haven't you? If its the extra clip then it isn't packed and you should have no problem playing it. If you can play DVDs on your pc then you should be able to play mpeg2 files too. Just open them up in windows media player. if you need a codec it should say

adywan

Mate I swear to god, I’ve just upload the file suggested by Tubes and now I can’t reopening the files where you posted them. This isn’t my night.

You are doing something seriously wrong here. you shouldn't have to access the files where i posted them again. you should have already downloaded the files (saved) to your PC. If you are trying to open the files direct from the links then its no wonder you are having problems.

adywan

I clicked on the file then waited for the link to take me to the (Megavideo site) then entered the code which was three letters. Then I clicked download and waited and waited until the file was saved to the (desk top) on the pc. And since I’ve gone though so many channels like Windows at first, (no hope) then Tubes said download the (DivX file) that’s already on the (desk top) but since it’s a new feature, I’ll have to learn how to use it.

So are these files too large for the Megavideo site for simple click and view, and make a comment on it etc, etc, etc?
