hint, hint, my bad attempt at humor.

I have to quit hitting the quote button instead of edit, errr.

Look at Han and boba in ROTJ, if this was the PT they would of had a huge fight. Not that Boba's death is particularly good in ROTJ, but it certainly would of gone down different in the PT.

And I'm sure we'd have tofind out why Jabba was "da man" and he's do some kindo fo Hutt kung fu

according to the offical site he is a non-humaniod alien. I'm sure like Vader most of his organics have been lost, but he is a cyborg non-the-less. and apparenly we'll see behind his mask at some point in Ep3.

If you look at his face up close you can see that his eyes are organic with flesh around them.

1. I get what you are saying with the character fights. And in all honesty, I think your idea of a Han and Boba semi-fight is actually a better idea, inspired from the PT and all.
2. You got it right. Originally some kind of flexible alien from what Clone Wars suggests (though I am sure it is heavily exagerated like Mace or Kit or Anakin or Obi) and then became a droid from what I conjecture. And as far as I know, he doesn't have the force at all, he just moves fast. If he starts deflecting blaster bolts from the clones in Episode 3 however, we may have a question mark? on how he can use an obviously force derived ability, but I doubt it.

That still sounds better than the current version...

I doubt it will be that, just more scenes and CGI in them and other shots in all seriousness. What I am actually wondering is with modifications on their way, especially if there are ultimate editions, what are we going to start calling the damn things? We're going to need a code key to understand each other. No, I'm talking about the SE, not UE, but wait where is my OT. Haha, you only have the SSE, not UE. But what about the DC? Nothing compared to LFV.

Code Key

OT- Original Theatrical
SE- Special Editions
SSE - Special Special Editions '04
UE- Ultimate Edition
DC- Director's Cut
LFV - Lucas's Film Visions

I mean, do you seriously imagine that if you travelled millions of light years away to a far distant galaxy you could meet a race of beings that look -exactly- like we do who are called Humans? It doesn't bother me because there are plenty of thins in the Star Wars universe that aren't supposed to reflect reality; and the fact is, it works... but it doesn't really make logical sense.

Well, that all depends upon your look of the universe and life in general. If we take in pure mathematic possibilties with the evolution equation theory kind of stuff, our existance is one in a billion trillion or something like that. And then how we evolved and survive becomes another big number. If you accept a God in the picture, then we have some divine purpose and perhaps God willed the other or another race of sentient beings to look like us. Depends greatly on one's own point of view.

Don't worry, you have an ally in me against these OT lunatics.

What are you talking about? If you want a review of the SE, it can be a good one because it shows alot of the changes that other reviews don't have the time or space to mention. I am also saying though it is very much a satire and someone should expect that when they're getting ready to read it. That's all, as far as Han's Girlfriend goes, she is still very credible to me. Unless of course you are joking and my foot's going deeper in my mouth.

Han didn't have fight scenes, mostly he flew in the Falcon. But he did confront plenty of stormtroopers on the Death Star, he tried to fight Vader at Cloud City, and he beat up on some stormtroopers on Endor. I do agree though he didn't have a traditional fight scene.

thats my point. And if you disclude the duels, of which there is only one in each film all three of which are story/character driven more then action driven, then it would be fair to say there are NO fight scenes in the OT.

Not between characters, but alot between starships as far as fighting period. I would definately say that there is more space action in the OT then PT. (Mostly because of everything to do with the Falcon.) In defense of the PT however, there are undoubtably going to be more fight scenes with lightsabers and such because there are more Jedi running around that as a script writer you can play with.

Which would of been a lot better.

As for the droid factory. I like it, its one of the few scenes I do like in AOTC, it is pointless action, but its good, and we needed to see Anakin with a saber at some point in the movie showing that he has some skills. Plus I've just always wanted a temple of doom style conveyor belt action scene in SW

I agree that it might have been better if Obi-Wan had been without the Counc's blessing, but I also think it is more tragic to even show the legendary Jedi Council did not heed the signs. Besides to me in TPM, Obi-Wan took upon himself to train Anakin when Qui-Gon died, regardless of what Yoda would have said to him in the room, especially to me when Obi-Wan did say, "I will train Anakin, without the approval of the Council if I must."

I also like the droid factory showing off Anakin's skills, having the classic Artoo saves our butt scene between him and Padme, and also I did like the humor with Threepio, especially when I figured out it was really a better redone scene with Threepio in AOTC then Jar Jar as much in TPM.

Well GL seems to feel that way after all, since the OT couldn't have disappeared. I can see now.

You hear the Vader breathing.

Rick: "Lord Lucas, the new Rogue Squadron game has the Ewok song from Return of the Jedi, Yub, Yub."
George: "What? That song does not exist in my parallel dimension!"
Rick: "But Lord, it was......"
George: "Who dared to release this vision of George's?"
Rick: "Your company, LucasArts, George my lord."
George: "That first name no longer has any meaning to me. You will recover the stolen information and bring me all the games, I want them BURNED!...... And Little Lucas, don't fail me again."
Rick: "Yes, my lord."

Now remember, I do like the SE, but with these 2 I can't resist sometimes.
