where do you live in Canada?

That's interesting, anamorphic. What's the quality look like on a bigger screen (since I thought you said you had one). Just curious.

Changes in 2004 DVDs
Time
True. Anyway, back to this subject of the changes for the '04 set. I am just trying to collect every alleged change we've heard that has not been proven false for sure. New Emperor head, different Jabba, fixed lightsabers, even IGN something about Han shoots first, though Digital Bits didn't pick up on it I think. Anything else you guys (and gals) have heard?

MORE CHANGES!!! (for the 2004 OT DVD release)
Time
To be honest and I know some may diasgree, but I would rather have Han shoot second then Haden at the end of ROTJ. I just think it would completely ruin the sacrifice Anakin makes for Luke at the end of the movie. Not to mention, I liked Sebastian Shaw as old Anakin and I think it does him a major disservice to be deleted, especially with him already dead and in the grave. Show a little respect GL.

Last line of episode 3?
Time
I will definately be watching them 1,2,3,4,5,6 for the most of the time, but you have brought up a question I have been wrestling with. How do you show someone new to Star Wars, the right way story wise or the OT first. I have to see Epi.3 first, but I am leaning toward the PT actually. It does depend on the age though. If they're young I would probably show them the OT first since it has less overall action then the PT and kids love action. Either way, like I said, it will be a tough decision.

How does Grand Moff Tarkin fit into Ep 3?

lol
i second that!

does anyone know if someone has been cast for Tarkin in EP III?

Well, I have a picture of a spy report from theforce.net that I will have to dig up. Hopefully it is real because the young actor looked very similar to the Grand Moff Tarkin we know and love from A New Hope. Anyway, Tarkin is not mentioned on a selected list of the characters and such for Episode 3, but there are a few Senators and of course the obvious, Obi, Mace, etc...

luke the answer to 75% of your questions is the force. jedi can do things using the force.

but falling from a ridiculous height like that and stopping yourself without any slack....
what can the force do?
jedis cant fly can they?

oh no!
*recalls memory of seeing Neo fly for the first time**

Jedi's cannot fly obviously, but they can slow their descent when needed. Mace Windu falling from the balcony or even the book Courtship of Princess Leia (a book written before Episode 1) has Luke descending after his ship is destroyed on Dathomir, meters and meters into the air. So I would say it would be very easy for Obi-Wan not to rip his hand.
