Let janskeet do what he is going to do in his supposed fan edit. It isnt like he is building a time machine and destroying the movie. Its not like you have to watch it. Let him try it out. Atleast he will be happy. Ok janskeet get busy stop saying what you are gonna do and do the thing. Theres no time to lose. Good luck, I am gonna be frank. You really need to think about if you really want to do it before you start. I will tell you it takes dedication. When I say that I mean. You will get tired of this if you really work hard. You will be drained. You will start hating the project but do not get discouraged. And remember patience.

Yeah this is especially going to be hard doing it all on MS paint ;-).

Info & Ideas: ESB and ROTJ Wishlist

Yeah ... sorry, but that was pretty terrible.  And that lightsaber duel is, in my opinion, the absolute best out of the entire saga, with the ESB duel running a very, very close second.  TPM's end duel is third, and ANH's is fourth.  Anything from AOTC or ROTS isn't even on the chart, and if any of them were, they'd be waaay at the bottom.  (Yes, I'm most definitely including the Anakin/Obi-Wan duel ... ugh.)

I wasn't crazy about the Anakin/Obi-wan duel either. What was it about it? Its just wasn't very interesting, even my mom said she thought it was kind of boring.

First, those aren't Rontos, they're Dewbacks.

Second, this is one of the few problems I had with ANH:R - Ady should have just gotten rid of the two added SE shots.  I don't mind the CG alterations to the shot that was there in 1977, I just think the two extra ones add nothing to the scene and drag it out unnecessarily.

I thought the same thing too, I might remove the first two added SE shots.

Sorry, I thought I was in the "Can anything else be done after adywan thread," but I didn't find out until after I posted it. Now that you guys replied to this, it doesn't do much good to delete it. And sorry Angel, I thought those pics were under 600px, I guess they're still too big. Perhaps it's good that Adywan sees it here, so I can get his permission to edit his version.

Oh, and I think I will leave in Han's smile afterall.

That reminds me... in the SE "extended Yavin Battle" CGI... all the X-wings have the markings for Red 2 (two hatch marks on the wings). Adywan fixed it so that it reflects the proper pilot, except in one major shot I noticed... where Luke is flying away from the TIE and is saying "I can't shake him" the next big shot we see two hatch marks when we should see five.

I haven't spotted this yet, I'll look into it.

I think I'm going to make my own fan-edit, it is going to subtly improve upon Adywan's Revisited. It is mostly going to be fixing the remaining continuity errors and removing and changing a few sounds and lines of dialogue.

First, I will be fixing the "Octopus Droid" continuity errors.

Second, I will be reducing and removing the sounds made by the Dewbacks.

Third, I will be re-inserting Luke's original dialog seen here (I like it better, I like the tone in his voice better, just because he really does return doesn't mean he can't say never):

Forth, I will be adding blue hue to the cockpit windows seen here:

Fifth, I will show an extended version of the Millenium Falcon coming out of hyperspace seen in ROTJ:

Sixth, I will be removing the "Wookies are known to do that" line. Unnecessary dialogue.

Seventh, I will be adding red flares to the backs of all the Tie Fighters missing them.

Eighth, I will be changing the explosion of the Death Star to be more realistic. Right now it explodes like a balloon filled with gas that was lit by a lighter. I want it to explode slower and start with flames shooting out of it, accumulating bigger and bigger until it breaks apart in big chunks.

That's all I can think of at the moment, I will update this periodically as I come up with more stuff.

The science behind hyperspace?
Time

Now to my knowledge from reading about Einstein's theorys, the theory behind time is that the faster you go the slower time passes. Traveling at the speed light, time stops. If you could travel faster than the speed of light, time goes in reverse. You would actually be getting younger if you could go faster than the speed of light. It's not possible for solid objects to travel at the speed of light, becauase at that speed matter becomes light. But not in the Star Wars universe. So theoretically traveling in hyperspace makes the physical distance of systems closer than the actual distance of traveling even at the speed of light because time is stopped or going in reverse? So that means that if Alderaan exploded before you got there, it actually wouldn't be blown yet up by the time you got there because you went back in time? I'd also like to mention I thought it was a really cool idea that they had the ships travel through a blue tunnel while in hyperspace. Hyperspace is another term used for the forth dimension, right? One of the ideas in the forth dimension is that you can go from one place to another instantly without physically moving there.

Quick question.. does anybody mod these boards? Just askin cause when 2 or 3 people standout form the 100's here and consistantly get called out for trolling or posting redunant threads or being a general nuisance, I mean isnt that what the mods are for? *sigh*... even with ignoring on there are still 20+ posts responding to waid thru....

Yeah, I'm really getting sick of these people too! Mods where are you?
