Return of The Jedi Soundtrack released in 1997 and 2004 suspected by me to be a victim of the loudness wars
Time

George "Greedo shot first" Lucas lol

How about for pre-modern era Lucas: George "used to make good films" Lucas

Modern era Lucas: George "just wants to make money" Lucas

or

George "used to want to tell a good story" Lucas

George "makes Anakin and Padme fall in love because the plot says so" Lucas

or George "star wars used to be about a ordinary man rising to greatness" Lucas

to

George "only privelged people rise to greatness" Lucas

Although this time I did uploaded a file in the html format, but I get this when I upload jpg and bitmap files too. Right now I am just using Microsoft paint for photoshop. I will get Adobe soon but it should still work right?

Star Wars is for children. Adults: Stop being selfish.
Time

One thing that always bugged me was it seemed they put the vader suit on over the burnt Hayden without even removing the burnt clothing off of the skin. I know it is just a fantasy movie, but even for Star Wars burnt Hayden looked a little beyond repair. I wasn't expecting him to get so fucked up. I think I actually liked an EU idea better that Vader gets the suit from radiation exposure. I was expecting Hayden to get a few limbs cut off and then fall into a nuclear reactor before I knew the plot of ROTS. It's also pretty contrived how Anakin and Obi-Wan fight over lava sometimes only inches from it, let alone the splattering of it, for what seems to be 45 minuets. Suddently Obi Wan jumps up on a little hill and says "It's over Anakin, I have the high ground!" What? Why does that matter?!! After all the jumping and flipping you did over lava falls, precise lightsaber fighting,  Anakin suddenly decides to just clumsily jump up in the air over Obi Wan and then gets all cut up. I would've preferred to see a fight to the finish where Anakin slowly gets more and more wounded, until he no longer can fight. In ROTS they fight precisely until the plot needs them to not fight precisely. Then Obi Wan just lets him burn alive after mercelessly trying to kill him. They could've architect the situation to give Obi Wan a legitmate reason not to finish him off.

Have you seen ROTJ?????

Um, yeah.....LOL. I thought I was supposed to be seeing something in the photo.

The photo does not illustrate your point- the arrow points at nothing. Maybe that's why Vader didn't see him. ;-)

Dude, are you trying to be obnoxious? You know what I mean. No, I'm not trying to indiciate you can see anything where the arrow is pointing. I am just indicating Luke is sitting right behind that thing, whatever the hell that thing is. I can't tell if it is a computer or just decoration. Does anybody know what that thing is? Whatever it is it looks cool.

I always thought B-movies were movies that were cheesy and made kids. Following strict logic and laws of physics weren't what the movie were about. Like power rangers or spider-man. After looking up B-movies, I guess this isn't an accurate description of "B-movies". But even George Lucas said star wars "are just b-movies" and that was his excuse for a lot of the arguments with people who questioned his descisions making the movies. I was always little appauld that Georege Lucas thinks Star Wars are just b-movies. I never thought of Star Wars that way. I always thought of them as generally good movies in all aspects.

The Obama Deception - MUST SEE!
Time

It is quite long. I haven't seen the whole thing myself, but so far, after 40 minuets, I'm not buying this. I just don't believe that Obama is behind this whole conspiracy to turn America into a fascist society. I'm not really sure what it is suggesting at this point. It seems it is suggesting that Obama's agenda is really to carry the same policies of the Bush administration.

One of the flaws with Anakin turning to the darkside...

In ROTS, he turns from being a pretty typical human being into a sick, twisted, sadistic, madman within a couple of days, perhaps even hours.

Days? Hours? Try within a couple of seconds, perhaps even minutes.

Now I agree with DarkFather and Confused Matthew. Anakin was a pretty twisted individual from AOTC onward. He was depicted as a creepy obsessive stalker type in his expressions of love for Pandabear, and when he killed a whole villiage of Tuskens, it only confirmed our suspictions that this guy not only needed some professional help, but he also needed to be locked up.

However his transition from that strange twisted freak whom everyone strangely seemed to love so much and seemed happy to accept despite of his severe issues, to the guy who goes around killing halflings and choking his wife to death was painfully abrupt. There is nothing there to indicate the passage of hours or days. In the course of a few minutes, "Palpatine, he is the Sith Lord. We've got to stop him." to "To take that Shaft!" to "What have I done?" to "I pledge myself to you." to "Alright, if it must be done, then it must be done. So, where are these small kids you need me to murder?"

The character develpement of Anakin in the prequels is just really amaturish and nonsensical. Episodes 1 & 2 could've easily been combined into one film. In fact, I don't think there was anything really worth seeing in episodes 1 & 2. What was said in the movies easily could've been summed up in the opening scroll an that would've given Lucas a lot more time to develop Anakin's character. We didn't need to see most of episode 1 spent on Tatoonie (spelling? I can never spell that damn planet right!) with Jar Jar stepping in poodo, Anakin building C3P0, the pod race, the midichlorians, the prophesy etc. In episode 2 we didn't need to see this inept clone mystery unfold at a 2nd grade level.  We didn't need to see Anakin and Padme fall in love so obtusely. One thing I would like to mention about the clones. Does anyone beleive that Lucas originally intended storm troopers to be clones in the OT? I doubt it. Why did they have different voices in ANH? Will Lucas be changing that too in his next editions?  Was explaining the orgin of the storm troopers even necessary? Was the midicholorians and the prophecy necessary either? I don't think so.

The problem is somewhere down the line Lucas decided that star wars were b-movies. I never thought of the OT as B-movies. The prequels certainly are, and as B-movies I think they're acceptable. But as real movies leading up to the OT they are not.

I always imagined Anakin slowly turning to the darkside over a period of time spanning many years. In ROTS, he turns from being a pretty typical human being into a sick, twisted, sadistic, madman within a couple of days, perhaps even hours. Did it ever occur to him before he tries to kill all those jedi and Padme, he sleeps on it??!!!! It would've been a real drag for him to wake up the next day in the vader suit and think to himself; man, what was I thinking yesturday!

I was watching AOTC again in almost 5 years... ugh!
Time

I watched all of confusedmatthew's movie reviews of the prequels. Confusedmatthew interprets only what is seen on screen as canon, but I think George Lucas intended a lot of the character developement and the story to be interpreted off screen. I think it was just lazy film making, a way to get out of doing "the hard parts". It is not a good way to make a movie and one of the fatal mistakes with the prequels IMO. No matter whether you're a die hard SW fan, know all of the EU stuff, watch all of the TV shows, and collect all the merchandise, or if you're just an average Joe who knows little or nothing about SW, everyone can enjoy the OT and understand the plot. In the prequels, GL almost makes you have to read EU and watch the Clone Wars Cartoon before you understand what is going on. The movies throw you into the world with little explanation and the idea is you're suspose to just become absorbed, it worked in the OT because the OT focused on characters, you were able to suspend disbeleif, but in the prequels, they focus on politics, insult our intelligence and didn't connect with the audience. The PT to me seems like a bunch of ideas linked together in contrived manners. GL was obviously a lot more concerned about incorperating a bunch ideas in the movies rather than making a beleivable, coherant story. There are so many instances where GL put stupid pointless shit from the OT in the PT, it is hard to know where to start. For starters, Anakin building C3P0, that was a horrible idea, Boba Fett in AOTC might have been even worse. The Death Star in AOTC? I would've much preferred a convincing story rather than see so much screen time wasted on a bunch of characters and stuff from the OT poping up in the prequels.

Boy was Hayden Craptensen bad. Everytime he was on screeen I felt like screaming! For those of you who are more seasoned in the art of storytelling and movie making, could you describe to me the poor work done in AOTC? One thing that is obviously poorly done is the intro of the clone war battle. I don't know exactly what it is but the whole thing just seems to be one big suckfest.

We'd already covered a Death Star. It's lazy from a storytelling perspective.

Even if it was a battle over Courasant, would it be any different? I liked the idea of a second Death Star. Why not make another one? Remeber, before 1983, nobody had seen anything like ROTJ. So the material probably seemed more original back then.

It has been a long time since I've been here. So let me get this straight, Lando is gonna die? Please Adywan, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but it's not up for debate, and even if it was, this isn't the proper place. This is adywan's project, and if he wants to make Yoda orange, it's his choice. It's downright rude to get bent out of shape over his choices and clog up the wrong thread with complaints. Some of you need to respect the man's right to change what he wants. Ady has always had intelligent and insightful reasons behind every decision in this project.

If you don't like what he's doing, you're free to watch any of the other fan edits or make your own.

I was just being silly. I'm not trying to change his mind.
