STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

I'm hoping Adywan does something about this torture scene. Maybe make it last longer and have all the little gadget things do something. Maybe add a few cuts to Han's face after the torture scene. Although that might be getting too ambitious.

I really hate this new Emporer scene. While I know in the original version the Emporer looks like he has green skin and there is a continuity error with ROTJ, I really wouldn't mind Adywan just using the original Emperor. I know this new one looks like him more, but something just doesn't look right about him. I can't stand the new dialog, it goes on way too long and is just stupid. It's another one of Lucas's WTF moments. I hope Adywan gets the original dialog back too.

If you could interview George Lucas, what would you say?

I'd ask to see the outlines for the rest of the series that were written while ESB was in production/being written. I'd really like to know where everything was supposed to go before Lucas booted Gary Kurtz and fucked everything up just to spite him ...

So did you not like ROTJ? I agree, that Leia being Luke's sister was a bad idea, but it did tie the movie up nicely.

After getting all the common courtesy mumbo jumbo out of the way, I would ask him why did he allowed the '04 DVD set out without quality control. I would ask him if he even watched the master copy before they were printed. I will also ask him if he even rewatched the OT before making the prequels. I would ask him, why did he cast Hayden as Anakin and why did he just paste his head on top of Sebastian Shaw in ROTJ, and so on...

I don't mind TPM that much. I think it was definately the best of the prequels. I think it is kind of cool to see episode 1 and then pretend episodes 2 and 3 don't exisit and then just fill in the dots yourself on what happens between those movies. In fact, how the whole story comes together in episodes 2 and 3 is so simplistically done, you almost assumed everything that would happen in the next 2 movies anyways so you don't need them.

I don't understand why they didn't use David Prowse for the face of Darth Vader. He was the man behind the mask in all three films, I think he should've got the glory of it. Surely they could've made up his face with prothstetics and make-up to look like that anyway. David Prowse's face looks more like I imagined as the face behind the mask anyways.

Yeah, I always thought Vader looked like a conehead. Hopefully Adywan will do something about that. Make his head look more round. I'm not sure what the hell that dent on the back of his head is either. Before ROTS, I always thought it was a lightsaber wound, but now we find out it is burn wounds. Last time I checked, burn wounds don't make dents in your head.

Does Adywan plan on using the eyebrowless Sebastian Shaw or the browed one?

Wouldn't it make logical sense to use no eyebrows? I mean, its not like his hair roots survived his injuries, so why keep the eyebrows? Unless his eyebrows had more "midichlorians" than his hair! HA!

I agree that it would make more sense not to have eyebrows. Why would his eyebrows stay intact if his head of hair didn't? Plus if you consider the prequels canon material (which I don't), Anakin's eyebrows do burn off and considering how badly burnt he gets, I don't think they're coming back no matter how many midichlorians he had, lol.

Adywan has got to do something about the super star destroyer crashing into the Death Star. It just blows up as soon as it touches the Death Star. It's so lame. Everything that gets touched in star wars has to blow up. It would be nice for once not to have that happen so bluntely. I think it would be cool to see the Super Star Destroyer bust through levels of the death star and see imperial troops run for their lives as the Star Destroyer bursts through the place. I think I saw some ideas to show the super star destroyer crash into an uncompleted section of the Death Star. I think that is cool too.

Out of the three films, I would say ROTJ has the shoddiest looking production value. While the space battle is great, a lot of the areas lack a fine polished feeling that ANH and ESB had. The movie doesn't have that feel that you are watching a galaxy far far away. It feels like you're watching a movie filmed in studios of California and London and in the forests of California. Oddly, ROTJ had the largest budget: $32 million I beleive, which I beleive was a lot at the time. ESB's budget was a little over $20 million and ANH was $10 mil.

Obi pictures, on Tatooine, are nice but I think that to make the job easier and more realistic, that scene should be at night. With only few light inside Obi's hut, to fit better with the characters.

Once again a really nice idea on paper, firstly because when Luke started his journey it was in the bright glow of a youth looking to the future with some optimism and now he's a seasoned and slightly broken older man looking to the future with understandable dread, and we haven't seen Ben's hut in the dark so it would look familiar but different.

But if mixing one scene to the location of another is hard enough try doing it when the location was never recorded lit for night, it would make an already difficult job almost impossible.

Though I will give it a try, naturally ;-)

Not as bad as I thought and I'm getting better at the shimmer (even if it has shaved the top of Ben's hairpiece off) maybe you experts out there can do it better?

I'm a little confused by this idea of having Luke return to Ben's home in ROTJ?

By the way, your digital compositing work looks great!

Emperor View of Endor

Now doesn't that look sweet?

This would require the Death Star to rotate so that the window will be facing the battle later.

When it rotates, the lighting on the window frame should change. I think that would be very difficult to do.

You guys don't seem too enthusiastic about this idea. I think it would be great for ROTJ: R. But it is a long ways away. I wish I had Adywan's or Vaderio's, or this dude Davnes007's, skills. I would start whipping out my own ROTJ: R right now. Davnes007, could you tell me how you made this image?

I tried this time to give more life to the set.

I added more lights and i gave some little lights to the boxes/cylinders in the floor that seems to be unessesary.

With the lights the space opens and looks more big (IMO)

Also i added a "pattern" of the elevator's lights. just for personal taste and symmetry.

Someone posted that it would be cool to have sith lord statues. I tried to put one in the corner but it looked out place.

I never understood the logic of the emperor's throne room. It is such a strange room. I always thought it would be cool if it was more like a library enviornment but that is more like something you would see on Courosant.
