STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
I'm not a fan of the PT at all. But after watching them it made me think that when Kenobi says "Your father wanted you to have this.." it was just his way of helping engineer the training of a new Jedi in Luke to repair the wrongs he'd done in the past.

Now however, the prequels do not really exist for me. I now only tend to look at the supplemental discs for my OT projects.

If anyone has a problem tying the OT down amongst the plethora of alternatives out there, I suggest doing an OT project of your own. Then, the original films become so ingrained in your mind that any changes are rendered insignificant.

I am always interested to see different interpretations though and for this reason, I am looking forward to Adywan's projects.

Jambe, I watched Returning to Jedi last night. It's such a fantastic work, I can't even begin to say! Very nicely done!

Thanks mate. Glad to see it's finding a new audience all the time. Word of mouth is a wonderful thing. My youtube videos have now been seen over 148,000 times.

Cheers
JD (by the way, I am also doing a Blade Runner project at the moment)

I thought that might be the case. Thanks for confirming. It's the soundtracks that cause the problem rather than the video. Will have to think of a way round it.

Cheers

Hein ? who, where, what ? JD ?

At 10:43 on Adywan's clip, or 51:03 on your PAL OOT. In the take used of Han sitting at the helm of the Falcon, just as they blast their way out of Mos Eisley, you can see Ben walking down the doorway behind him. it was clearly a shot meant for later in the film after he instructs them to go and strap themselves in.

As I said, there are many subtle changes.

Agreed. Did a bit of work on this project last night. There really are some considerable difference between versions. The workprint in particular uses many alternate take and different shots.

Some probs already though. My software had some problems ripping the audio tracks. Not sure why yet.

More soon.

I don't have that info on me at the moment. But there are substantial differences.

I've lined them all up in FCP (as Mpeg4 files) at the "LOS ANGELES 2019" point and they all go out of sync within minutes. The workprint in particular. They then re-sync at certain points. My intention is to pause them at certain points to allow them to be synced for the most part.

The problem is that I need them all in DV. And at 22GB or so each, I just don't have the storage at the moment.
