I'd agree about keeping Clegg's speach, but I'm glad the garage scene is gone!
The prequel trilogy just seems to be full of irrelevant scenes, as time goes by and the wonder of 'new Star Wars movies' fades they really are crap. It would be great to wright them off, but maybe an edit of -3hrs of the prequels could make something of them??!!.....

Yeah nicely spotted DarthBO, it's a pity the way that the 'improvements' were made to the films, ILM could have rewinded a few frames to see that they had created continuity mistakes, maybe they did realise and hoped they didn't jarr and that the viewer would be distracted by the Cloud-car flying overhead.
My suggestion is to go back to the original GOUT interior without exterior elements happening through the skylight.

If your'e using FCP if you go into your effects tab (see Image)
The colour corrector 3 way allows you to adjust the colour temp of the whites, the blacks & the mid ranges if the image, maybe you've already given this a go but its what I would use.

Remember the reason the Falcon ends up so close to the Executor near the end of the movie is to build up tension... oh no!..... after all this shit, all we want is to get outta here and go and rescue Han..... and maybe tend to Luke's lobbed off hand.

I just re-watched a clip of Ady's SW:R, and I'd kinda forgotten what a fantastic job he'd done, all those changes & fixes to a film which had loads of imperfections.
ESB:R will surely be a masterpiece, it will be worth the wait, I couldn't see the new blu-ray SE's being attended to with so much care, they will be a let down.

I will try & do it but unfortunately I live in UK & have the 2004SE in PAL, & the SW:R DVD9 in NTSC.
I'd have to convert the 2004SE to 29.97 to blend in with the SW:R footage.....
Just remembered I've got the 2004SE in HD, need to check if its in PAL or NTSC.
