Have you met or seen someone from the Star Wars universe, and props?
Time

I work for an audio visual company & I was doing a conference in the Europa Hotel in Belfast for 'Equity' which is an actors union in the UK, the room was filled with familiar faces mainly from UK TV, but Oliver Ford Davies who played Sio Bibble in the FANTASTIC prequel films was there.....funny thing was ROTS was on it's first week of release in UK & I had seen it the night before.

I got his autograph and joked with him that I'd recently seen him on the big screen, he said he wasn't sure he'd made the cut & was in the film!

I've also met Dave Prowse, Jeremy Bulloch & Richard LeParmentier, but they were at a Star Wars thing.

What actor/actress would you like to see in new Star Wars Movies?
Time

Beside the already interested main cast from the original films (& prequel films.....??) for the new trilogy, what actors/actresses would you like involved in the new films? spin-offs included.

I think Dennis Lawson (Wedge) could make a return, possibly now an Admiral in the New Republic.

Jeff Bridges would be great as an old friend/rival of Han Solo

The Unofficial Complete REVISITED SAGA Ideas and Random Discussion Thread
Time

Yeah, I remember saying on another thread that it was a shame that the Vader costume in ROTS was a more refined costume than in the OT, it would have been better to see his costume evolve (as it did in the OT also), the way that the clones costume evolves to the Stormtrooper...or Vaders costume hurriedly constructed using available life support & bionics...perhaps more like Darth Malgus

It is the "official" translation but it doesn't need to be.

You could put any subtitle you like over it ergo my suggestions.

It's pretty wide spread as official explanations go so adding a subtitle stating something different (which makes more sense) would send out the message that it might mean that in George's version but here it means something else.

That's what I thought he said, could have been helped by the Marvel comics

Please, please, please don't include Samuel Jackson (or any other PT actor) in the sequel films. The last thing the ST needs is overt association with the prequels. Even the most-likely-inevitable inclusion of PT terminology (padawan, youngling, battle droids, midichlorians, etc.) will only serve to highlight how far the Star Wars franchise has fallen. But overtly featuring PT material visually (like showing elderly Boba clones, including the stupid padawan-braid, or casting any of the PT actors in these films, except for Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, and Peter Mayhew) is possibly the worst decision that the new franchise owners could make.

I agree, I've divorced the Prequels from my mind, it would be an utter shame if the new films linked to that shite

I really hate to break it to you guys, but it's likely going to happen. The Prequels are part of the "saga" now, unfortunate though that may be, and crappy as the films undeniably were.

I don't see how you could expect otherwise.

To tell you the truth, that is what I expect....but I'm trying to kid myself that they'll try & steer clear

How should have the Empire Strikes Back Plot Twist have been kept a secret in the prequel trilogy???

No they are episode 1 to 3 in a series where 4 to 6 are pre-existing as underlined by the text of the poster above.

So the wise move would be to make them work both as prequels and as earlier episodes.

They work as neither.

It would have been better if Anakin went insane because of his oddly shaped shadow though.

Never noticed that shadow before
