X-Wings in the trench which forms into the THX Logo sounds like the Dr Gonzo version. Not sure if anyone else used that THX Logo.

Well, the version I grew up watching was that VHS Boxset. The one that came out before the FACES one.

EDIT: Actually I grew up with the CBS Viewing of Star Wars and then a seperate tape with HBO Recordings of ESB & ROTJ. I didn't get that boxset till about 1989 or 1990.

I remember as a kid seeing a commercial that had those coins flying in the air. It aired around the time of Return of the Jedi. Anyone remember this?

I was watching the EditDroid Empire Strikes Back and I think I caught something. When Han is takin Leia to her transport and the ceiling caves in, Han says through his radio “I’ll take her out on the Falcon” Then he grabs her. Now, I could’ve sworn I remember as a kid in that scene when Han grabs Leia, she grunted. Am I mistaken?

Well, I'm with the theory that we should all boycott this upcoming release. There is no other way. And it doesn't look like Lucas is going to die anytime soon. Hopefully the next person who owns Star Wars will be more appeasing to the fans. It's rather ironic. The man responsible for giving us this wonderful Trilogy of movies is the same man ruining it and taking it away from us.

I am not going to get upset. I will not be buying these but I will be downloading them for completion sake. Now, George Lucas will be dead in the next 2 decades. The rights to Star Wars will be passed on. When that happens, you will see alot of stuff get released that Lucas said would never be. Like the Holiday Special and the Original Trilogy, Untouched, and in HD. Just be patient. It will happen.

I just got done downloading Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith in 1080i from a.b.HDTV Unfortunaly, I can only view it on my XBOX 360 through VGA cable. That only goes to 720p. Anyone here see it on HBO in 1080i? How was it? And how much better then the DVD is it?

Wow. I just came here and didn't realize my Thread was still going. I have the ability to record this on my PC through my ATI TV Wonder Pro card. In various formats. Someone familiar with this capture card could help me with format settings. But realize it would be a VHS Transfer.

I have that book. It's called "From Star Wars to Indiana Jones - The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives" Fantastic book. I recommend.
