STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Adywan, I just saw the Final Trailer. Gotta say it looks like you are going to do it again. I loved your Star Wars. Wasn't too happy with any of the prequel garbage, but ah well. Love the fact that you are putting back in "Bring My Shuttle". I never understood why that line was removed. I mean, Darth Vader has just failed to turn his son to the Dark Side and now he calmly says "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival" Just makes no sense. A pissed of Darth Vader says "Bring My Shuttle" Ah well, I'm rambling. Just wanted to say I can't wait to see the finished product. The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite movie of all time. Keep it up!

Star Wars DVD Covers

Alright, here are the covers, finished, without the "special features" section:

I decided against the Special Features section because it didn't quite look right, plus it wasn't on the VHS sleeve anyway. It wouldn't be hard for someone to add if they wanted to.

Here's the RapidShare download link - one ZIP file containing the full-res JPEGs of all three covers:

I'll post a similar link for my Indiana Jones covers if anyone's interested (you can find the "thumbnails" for those on page 150).

Can we get a new download link for these?

Do you think George Lucas will correct the colors for the blu-ray release?

To answer the original question, there is no way GL would correct the colors for a blu-ray release. I'm guessing that in his mind, the '04 release DID correct the colors.

Sadly, I don't think there will be a decent release of SW until after GL dies.

I couldn't have said it better then this. In George Lucas' mind, he DID correct the colors and various mistakes. In his eyes WE are the ones holding onto unfinished garbage.

Goodbye Prequels FOREVER
Time

As much as I despise the Special Editions, I have kept them. Not that I watch them. The Prequel DVDs are packed away along with the Prequel Fan Edits. I threw out the VHS copies of The Phantom Crap and Attack of the Douches. From now on, the cut-off date is 1990. I buy no Star Wars Merchandise unless it was made before 1990. Overboard may be, but it's a choice I am enjoying. Being surrounded by all the classic merchandise from my childhood feels so much better!

Nothing Past 1997 - A Fans Stand
Time
Well, I sit here a heart-broken man. I went and saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull the other day and left very sad. Another one of my cherished franchies has been crap'd on again by the men who created it. Why does George Lucas punish us so much? So, I'm sitting here and have come to a conclusion. NOTHING PAST 1997. What does this mean you may ask? Simple. I refuse to purchase anything past that year for Star Wars. That year is when the crap started flowing. And you all know what I am talking about. The Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition. I packed up everything of mine that was related to the Prequel Trilogy or the Special Edition. I deleted my xvids of the Prequels on my Media Server and renamed the Original Trilogy to what they were. No longer will I refer to them as the Original Trilogy. To me, they are The Star Wars Trilogy. And no Episode x before their name either. And anything related to the new Indiana Jones movie that I have purchased has been boxed up. Most likely never to see the light of day. Some, if not most of you will think I'm nuts. But I tell you, I can't take this anymore. Each time some crap from George Lucas comes out now, it invects my childhood memories. And I will tolerate that no longer.
