American Football = gay

My only annoyance is the fact they they choose the name "football", when there is in fact very little contact between the foot and the ball. And I hate the name soccer.

Exactly!

Let's keep the discussions about "merkin" football and "soccer" football separate. We've heard all the arguments a hundred times before.

Chill out Moth man!!

Thing is, looks like England won't even make it to Euro 08. So there really won't be much to 'shat' on, really. Coz if England are out, there's only Italy for me, and that's not the same as having the whole country cheering on one team. It'll be me against my mates. Which was pretty good last year, seeing how Italy one the world cup. (and that's WORLD CUP as in the whole world playing. Not like the World series, which is just the one country...Explain plz????)

yes, but what your point? The rest of us suffer because of the few who have outdated equipment? If you want to PIF a DVD-9 buy a DL burner simple as that. DL burners are dirt cheap now so there really is no valid reason not to PIF a DVD-9 if that is what you want to do.

For those who can't I'm sure there will be ample ways to acquire the edit, there always are.

What about those who don't have the moneys to buy a DL burner, and then all the disc's to PIF. Please don't be an ass and presume that everybody can just go out and buy the equipment necessary. Some of us here have a family and kids to feed. And a missus that would go spare if her other half splashed on on all this stuff just to watch a film 'you've already got'

Anything? Anything At All? (that is remotely positive or good about the SE and PT?)
Time
I've just remembered the best thing about the PT.
Watching the first trailer for TPM for the very first time. Wow!! Luckily I taped it on VHS. I must have watched it about 30 times in a row. It just looked bloody fantastic.
Jedi kicking ass, funny looking Stormtrooper things, The devil with a double bladed lighsaber!!!! Obi-Wan doing the spinny thing with his lighsaber...you could even forgive the fucked up looking Yoda because his "Fear leads to anger" speech was so good.
Who would have thought eh?! What a shame.....A real, real shame!!

I'm with those who quite like the PT for what it is. A set of Star Wars films that is ok, just not up to the original.
What do I like in particular? Dunno.
But one thing I do like (a lot) is the last 10 mins of Sith. Vader and Papls looking at the Death Star (I know the timeline is shagged...but it's just a film man) but I especially love the scene where Obi Wan hands Luke over to Beru. Love that scene...The music, colours..the fact that it's so sad, but we know what is to come. Perfect.

See, if the PT was more like that.....more visual - less dialog.... I think they could have been fantastic to watch.

SE..Meh...But who cares when we have such good Fan edits on here.

Yep, tis indeed the WoW nerd.
Oh man, he's tried prunes, laxatives, what ever to get the juice flowing. He drops a few pebbles but that's it.
I know I shouldn't laugh, but it is quite funny!

Back on topic- Deep Space Nine...Might give it a a go after season 3. My workmate swears it's the nuts. But then he would..he plays WoW ffs
