Mr Lucas has looked at the original designs of the spaceships from the OT, to help him design the new ep3 ships.
If it wasn't George doing this, then it was someone pretty high up in the Lucasfilm ladder! They are really gonna tie the PT and the OT with this film.
I'm just afraid that it's gonna be like TPM. As in, getting so exicted I nearly wet myself at seeing the trailer on UK TV for he first time, only to be so fucking dissapointed at seeinf the final result.
Repeat viewings didn't help much.
It was only till I got TPM on Video that I started to quit like it.
There was nothing like buying it on its fisrt day of release getting home and rolling a big fat joint. Then settling down to wacth the first new Star Wars film in years!!

I really started liking TPM, and the last 45mins were trully amazing!

AS for AOTC, you see I wasn't now expecting a sequel/prequel to the OT. No, I was expecting a sequel to TPM. I knew what to expect in terms of special effects and the way it was all filmed an' shit!

As with AOTC, for TPM me and a few of my mates all took the day off work just to go and see the films on there first showing.
Half expecting the queus to be massive, But only to find that us and a few of the super nerd squad were watching the films.

So much better having an empty cinema, than to have a place full of popcrn eating, sweet unwrapping noisey bunch of twats.

So yeah I liked AOTC alot more coming out of the cinema than I did TPM.
Man, after wacthing TPM for the first time I was so gutted.
Really, once we left the cinema we all went straight to our local pup. There it turns out that alot more people I know also took the day off to go and watch it. Actually, now I think about it, we met outside the cinema by chance. Then all sat together watching it!!
And I could tell after the first scene with dialog, that I wasn't ging to like it very much, and be very,very dissapointed.
Which I was
So I sat in the pub feeling so pissed off.
So pissed off!!

Come on admit it! How many of you were a little dissapointed the first time you saw TPM????




And as for James Bond nrg I totally agree.

I used to love the old Bond films, but especially Roger Moore'. He was the Bond that I grew up with.
I mean man, The spy who loved me was out the same year as Star Wars..
I think that year was the year that I fell in love with Cinema.
Ever sinse then I just love watching films!!!
And I do have a life.............And great sex.................with my girlfriend!

But with the new Bond films, and When I say new Bond films I mean the last 4.
It seems that all they do is think of a great stunt. Whatever it is, either jumping out of a building, or drive a fucking BOAT through the streets of London.
Seriously, someone tell me. How the fuck could he stear that boat around corners an' shit.
It's a fucking boat for Christs sake.

Point is it seems that all they do is think of great stunts and try to make a story out of and around it!!!

So haow much do you think the OT rentals are noe going for??

I bought all 3 films from our local Video store when they fist got released. This was way before "sell thru" was available.
TESB alone cost £56.00 at the time......This was in 1984
Jedi cost about £60 in 86.
Can'y actually rember getting Star Wars. But I know it's an original rental release.

Then I bought every release of the OT there after!!

This is without doubt the best fucking Star Wars box set ever...

And I have great pleasuer in wathing all the trailers and shit wheb=never I want!!




And I am so fucking pissed and stoned, that I can't see shit, nevermind spell shit!!!

Oh and thank God that Cannabis is now regarded as a class c drug.
Which means. if you get stopped with a small amount of pot now, you won't get prosecuted for it!!!

Mmmm! Do the EE of the films help you understand whats going on better??

But to be honest, the more times I watch the films, the better it is to get whtas happening.
After watching TTT a few times, I watched Fellowship again and that film made a lot more sense!!
Soon as 3 comes out I'll be straight there to buy and watch it again.

I do like those films!!

Question time!!!

Did Bilbo use the ring when he first found it??
If he did, why didn't the bad guy fo find him earlier?!!

What's the deal with the Eye??..I know it's the bad guy, but why an Eye??

Why doesn't Gollum die with out the ring??Is it because he's following them and so is still close to the ring?

How long did Bilbo have the ring??..Again, if for a while, why didn't Gollum die??

Can someone do a decent breakdown of the whole story, coz I ain't got a fucking clue whats going on?!?!;
I've seen the fisrt two a few times, and each time I see them, they make more sense.

But I'm still confused by the whole thing!!!?!?!?!?

And I can't be arsed to read the books!!


Oh and Ive seen all 3!!
Although I could'nt really get into 3. Not because I didn't like it, but because of the four 10year olds behind me and the missus. Stupid little fuckers, thought it would be a funny thing to do, throwing popcorn at the front row but having half a bag land on me. Is it wrong to tell a 10 year old, that if he didn't stop all the yabba and throwing shit AND using a laser pen at the screen, that I'll take them outside and give them a slap if the didn't shut the fuck up.

They did eventually though! Even my bird turned round an gave 'em whats what!!

In Phantom Menace when the old ladys going on about the sand storm to Ani, Man that was straight out of East London cockney geezer spaeak..

When me and my mates first saw TPM and she spoke, we pissed ourselves...

"Cor blimey guvna' Theres a storm coming..Apples and pairs..look at her boat race"

But in HP it's not just the accents that stick out like a sore thumb, it's the bloody shit acting. Especially from the 2 ginger twats..sorry twins..and that fat little kid who flew away on his broomstick..Nevile I think his name was...Man o Man...!!!
