Yeah..3PO was the biggest pile of shit in 1 & 2, especislly 2. All that slap-stick bullshit, really pissed me off.
Dunno about Chewie, haven't seen it yet obviously!

Also, spot the mistake in 2??

3PO says someting like, just before his head comes off, "I wonder what happened to poor R2? He's always getting himself into trouble"

Man I've checked the back of my box and I can't find any V2 shit, anywhere!!
I'm gonna have to watch them again to see if anythings wrong!
I bought the VHS boxset when that first came out, and before that had the rental release when that came out.

I should notice if anythings wrong. I just can't be arsed to watch them again.

Why is it, that when you're younger, and when these films, or any film for that matter, come out you love them!

I mean, how many times do you watch them in the cinema.
Not talking about Star Wars now, cos man I saw them a few times in my local cinema. Which was only a 5 min walk from my house. The good old days when a 8 - 11 year old was allowed to go to the cinema by himself be brainwashed by the greatest films of all time.


Then they come out on DVD for the fist time in some too highly priced box set, but when you watch them for maybe the first time in 5 years or so, and they never seem as good. Not the OT of Star Wars though. no no..I always watch Star Wars man. Love 'em. Gotta my fix of ESB every now and then. Usually when I get home from a night out pissed. Dunno why but I just gotta put the video on and watch it in bed. Much to the annoiance of my girlfriend lying next to me.
But she knew what she was getting into when she met me.

Well maybe they do, I dunno..

I know it's your opinion Jimbo....

But..

How can you say AOTC is the best of the bunch.
Brilliant story telling and actionin a seemless way?!?...Huh!?!??!
Thats whats wronf with 1 and 2...They just don'y flow like the OT. The way the story unfolds with the OT is part of what makes it so apealling and watchable, again and again..Especially ESB!! Which happens to be MY fave film of all time!

Thats my opinion, and your is yours..thats fair enough...

But man, I've loved Star Wars sinse I was 6...Grew up with, I even can't imagine my life without it..(man that sounds soooo sad), but if I'm totally honest. I'm a little gutted with what they've done with the PT so far.
Don't get me wrong, I like thaem..Man it's SW for Christ' sake, I'm just a little gutted thats all!!!
