I did. Back in London, The Odeon Leicester Square with my uncle. Fell asleep coz I thought it was boring. As soon as it came to my town I watched it about 6 times!

Does anyone have any Deleted Scenes for the Original Trilogy?
Time
It's in my parents house somewhere. Don't know if it was official, but there was another site I went on last year, that posted a scan of the info. It definetly said that Stormtroopers were clones. But they could have just got the info wrong.
I'll have a look for it next time I go round!

Actually some here might have it. It was a poster magazine, and one one side was a poster of Han, Leia, Chewie and 3PO in the falcons cockpit. On the other side was a load of info about the Empire. This months was the Empire month. I think there was a set of 3. Anyway, the older fan here still might have theirs.

Right, I've said this somewhere else.
They cannot change the voices of the Stormtroopers because of one simple reason why?!?

If they did, when Luke and Han were dressed up as Troops, as soon as they spoke, they'd get shot. The only 2 Stormtroopers in the last twenty years to sound different.
So no way can Lucas or anyone else do a thing about the OT Troopers voice. I think it's gonna stay the same!

Oh and also, I remember having a magazine poster thing in the 80's, about ESB time, where it said on the back that Stormtroopers were clones.

Right......

Wanna know the reason they haven't changed the voices for the Stormtroopers!!!!!

If the did, then Han and Luke would of got shot straight away when they were dressed up. Different voices an shit........

So it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever!!!!!!!!!

That's actually a very good point.

I'm glad someone thinks so!!

True, but that doesn't mean he didn't have the next films in mind. He had some idea what he was doing.
Don't you think that it would have been a little confusing going to watch this big new film, only for it to start with Episode 4.

Lucas knew what he was doing.
Because SW was so big, because it made him money, it just gave him the freedom to make the films he wanted to make.

Just because some of you think Lucas is fucking the films up now, doesn't mean he was back then. Back then he knew exactly what to do, and done it well. If he didn't, we all wouldn't be here now!

Jesus...The Jabba thing...Jesus man, Lucas already said he wanted to have a stop motion thing replacing the actor.
And as for Star Wars being episode 4, Lucas also said that he had this rough outline to a story, took the most interesting part, ie the middle, and fleshed that out into a film.
I'm not saying he had the whole of SW already written out, but that he had an idea of what he wanted to do.

Watch some OLD docus about it. This was Lucas before all the bullshit, when he knew what he was talking about, unlike you.

Editing the '2oo4 Editions' - which changes would you revert?
Time

True, the actor could have been wearing a blue shirt or whatever, but it's easier for the actors to keep in character if they are dressed in character. It's a bit off putting if Harrison was acting next to a guy in jeans and trainers...get my point?!?!

Also, the chess game was probably the reason they did'nt bother with Jabba. It just wouldn't have worked.

My other point. The Jabba in the Marvel comics is actually a character we see in the background in Mos eisley. You have to look closley but he is there walking around. I'll have to watch the film again to tell you where exactly, but belive me, he's there!

You are an idiot. Firstly, the Jaba scene might have originally been an intentional part of the film - but it was intended that Jaba was a human. It was shot, but never intended for use. Lucarse just wanted to put in something new. And no it is not stealing, it is a breach of copyright - I think you have to look back into your law books.

You're the idiot man. Yes Jabba was a human originally, but Lucas always intended to have a stop motion creature pasted over the top of the actor. But due to time and money it wasn't possible, so they cut the whole scene out.
