True. While Matt Wood says his voice is in all 6 movies, no one has found him in any of them so far, as far as I know.

I thought I read somewhere that Matt Wood and another person helped voice Obi-Wan's new scream in ANH.  Anyone else remember this?

People may not want to hear it, but I believe the "other person" is Ben Burtt.

Jesus. If you dont have the integrity to stand by your suggestions, you shouldn't post them in the first place.

You are jocking right? TFU had a terrible story!! It made Vader look like a complete and total idiot!!

Much as I love the character, Vader/Anakin ain't the smartest cookie. His entire story is pretty much one horrific miscalculation after another. The only films in which he doesn't screw up royally in one way or another are Phantom and Empire.

I also thought the story for TFU was the strongest aspect of an otherwise flawed game.

It's been tough to find things that bother me about ESB, knowing the majority of them are being fixed. I've made many suggestions in this thread (some rejected, some supported), and after all this time, my idea well is running more and more dry!

But... here is one thing I've been meaning to mention for a while, and just kept forgetting to do for some reason... toward the end of the asteroid chase, just before Han finds the asteroid cave, he says "there, that looks pretty good." While he says this line, he points out the cockpit with his finger, implying he VISUALLY spotted it with nothing but the eyes he was born with...

... yet in the next shot, while Leia is asking "what looks pretty good?", the view outside of the cockpit is very clearly NOT showing a cave yet! As they continue flying, only then does the cave appear. How could Han have known there was a cave there? For all he knew, it could have just been another valley!

A fix could be just replacing the footage outside the front of the cockpit to show what Han is talking about, maybe making the cave appear a lot sooner, or making the valley bigger so that they are already flying into it when Leia says the line. Otherwise, it is just illogical to see how Han spotted a cave that he couldn't possibly have seen yet, as he kept the Falcon flying low the entire time.

"What looks pretty good?" Indeed.

um he was saying it about the "ASTEROID" it self

Why would he randomly point out the asteroid they've been flying over for a minute or so already (they lose the TIEs in a canyon on the same asteroid where he points out the cave no one can see yet)?

To be fair I point out sidewalks that I've been walking on for over a minute and say "that looks pretty good" all the time. Then when I reach the edge of the curb I notice a pothole before I see it. It's awesome!

All kidding aside, this is one error in the movie I'd love to see fixed. A mock-up for this may be too difficult for me to pull off, so I don't think I'll be taking a stab at it, unfortunately.

I'd always assumed that the Falcon's sensors (which Han was looking at and Leia wasn't) had picked up the 'cave' before it it could be seen from the cockpit.

An interesting idea, but one i probably won't be doing. The clone wars is after all part of the EU.

I wish it was true but I think Lucas said that the CG Clone Wars movie and the CG TV series (series that I find myself enjoying for the most part, unlike the "movie") are Star Wars canons (?)

But of course on this matter it all depends of our personal state of mind!

Lucas did indeed say that. The idea is that the films, CG series and forthcoming TV series will be official cannon, and everything else EU (and so fair-game for contradiction - see Karen Travis's hissyfit and subsequent quitting writing for SW for details).

Of course, that doesn't mean (as you suggest) they have to be a part of adywan's personal canon, but they are not considered EU by lucasfilm.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Edit Suggestions
Time

I had no problem with the aliens thing in Crystal Skull - it's certainly no sillier than the wrath of god in a box melting the Nazis faces. The movie has several major flaws (too many protagonists to develop properly, unnecessary CGI animals), but the aliens didn't bother me at all. The films have always been about thoroughly implausible maguffins.

As a fanedit, I think it needs a "light touch" - tightening here and there, sorting the colours and removing the odd redudant CGI critter or lame 'nut shot' joke, rather than the radical changes proposed.

But it's all about personal taste, I guess.

Your memory is perfectly intact. A small quantity of reels of Phantom Menace where Maul isn't cut in half went out in some areas of the USA (which is where I assume you are). It was an early cut of the film, made incase Maul's bisection garnered a higher rating (which in the end it didn't).

The guy who plays Obi Wan does a perfect Ewan McGregor so if anybody needs extra lines The Clone Wars series has a plethora of lines.

You think? Seems like the weakest link of the main voice cast, to me. The intonation may be right for the most part, but he gets Southern English (Guinness's accent which McGregor is reproducing in the prequels) pronunciations wrong all over the place.

I have a Sony BDPS-350 and the exact same thing happens at the same points in the movie . Is there any players that this doesnt happen with ?. Adywans Empire plays perfectly though .

I also have a Sony BSPS350 and have exactly the same problem in exactly the same place. It only takes pausing it, nudging it a few frames, and pressing play again to get it back in sync, but it is an odd one that.

Adywan, Sorry to ask this way too early, But what do you plan to do with the rest of the saga Mainly the prequels to make Darth Vaders line in ESB about being Luke's father more of a suprise? I hate the fact that George Lucas completely forgot about the OT when making the PT. Why did he have to spoon feed us?

It's always been a given, IMO, that the films are still intended to be watched 4,5,6,1,2,3. Therefore the fact that the prequels make the connection obvious is of little consequence. It's a 'backstory' trilogy, not a 'beginning of the story' trilogy.
