Here's what I've been working on these past few days ;-)
Here's what I've been working on these past few days ;-)
Darth Vader girl with tattoos is cool :-)
And what are the other two supposed to be? Sth from Star Trek?
Oh, yeah, I know about that but it's this bad only in a few shots. In theory, it should be that bright and you should be seeing fields of smaller stars where there are the grey areas but they're eaten up by compression because the compression algorithm knows that it's so dark that those details wouldn't be visible anyway, so when you brighten the picture, these compression artefacts are brought up along with some additional detail. This is an unfortunate side-effect of doing colour correction on a compressed source but until the blu-rays come out, this is about the best source there is.
I'm not denying that it's a mistake on my part, because I could have simply not brightened it so much but I didn't notice it until after the final encode and didn't think it a big enough issue to go through the whole encoding ordeal again, because like I said, it's just a few shots.
Just import the links into JDownloader.
Awesome, Chewtobacca, thanks :-)

btw will there eventually be a NTSC dvd5 release for this?
Oh, sorry, must have overlooked it before. Well, only if someone does it. I haven't seen Chewtobacca around for a while.
That is your best WP reviewer prize ;-)
And sending me the 97SE discs is also a highly appreciated help :-)
I guess h_h would deserve that prize for WP review as well but he was a bit late to the party (and he gets his credit anyway for both his WP check contribution and the wonderful 5.1 mix) :-)
And thanks for the positive feedback :-)
That's cool. I was actually thinking that about the Czech thing. STAR WARS got it's first theatrical release here (and other post communist countries) in the early 90s, so the prints had to come from somewhere right? I always wondered...
Oh, c'mon guys, are we now discussing how fat George Lucas is? He is quite old, you know. And he isn't even that fat. I don't know how many people this old you know, RU, but I'd like to see you running on a treadmill when you're nearing 70. My Grandma is 65 and she has trouble walking longer distances, so running is completely out of the question.
You should lower your expectations or you may be disappointed ;-)
Thanks :-) As to Jedi, there is a thread for it, please use it :-)
OK, the comparisons are complete. Here it is.
Who's Anthony Weiner?
I used Moth3r's LD cap for some parts of the Ronto flyby shot in Mos Eisley, to get rid of the worst smearing.
Well, if something is an exception, it has to be an exception from something. So if there is an exception from something, that something is logically a rule :-)
Good idea, thanks :-)

If you want to get this, simply go to ulozto.net and search for "SW DeEd".
PM sent anyway ;-)
Now, I'm looking forward to any feedback.
FYI, I'm about halfway through the comparison and it could be finished tonight.
@RU.08: Great, thanks :-)
All the PMs sent (I hope I didn't forget anyone) but from now on, change of plans: if you want to get this, simply go to ulozto.net and search for "SW DeEd".

Congrats on finishing Star Wars DE!
Thanks. Just so you guys know, I'm trying to avoid the DE abbreviation, because it could be confused with Darth Editious, so I'm using DeEd or DesED.
PM sent :-)
