No, this is final (at least for now, we'll see about the Blu-Ray based version in a few months), so you can go ahead with the conversion if you want. And thanks for doing it, I appreciate it :-)

???
I mean, Yoda doesn't count?
fixed that for ya ;-)
Well, someone has to do the clean-up as well.

Fixed that for you, Harmy!Harmy said:
Those are the shots Lucasfilm unfortunately felt the need to mess up.
Hehe, well, yeah but there's at least 50 more shots that Lucasfilm unfortunately felt the need to mess up but I didn't have to slow those down in order to fix them ;-) BTW. Picture comparison is in the works :-)
Those are the shots I unfortunately had to slow down a bit.
Yeah, that's exactly the thing, I don't want to make a new version based on the blus before we discover all the new changes. I may actually make a new version of ESB using the broadcasts after someone makes a cleaned up version of Puggo Strikes Back, because the clips I saw looked pretty awesome. But that won't be in the near future.
With every new information I'm more and more convinced, that I won't be able to use those blu-rays for my edits :-(
Well, I get seriously good upload speed on uloz.to, so you can give it a shot and you'll see how it goes. Thank you very much for helping out!!! PM sent.
What's going to happen to STAR WARS after GL dies is a pretty common topic around here and I don't see why it shouldn't be, because from the purely factual point of view it is a very important factor in what this forum is all about.
Bringing it up at BR.com is quite a bold move though, becuase there it's probably considered blasphemous ;-) It's like going to a fundamentalistcatholic.org forum and trying to start a conversation about what will happen to the universe after God kicks the bucket :-D
I'm afraid the torrent isn't the same files. Maybe you could split it up further into 4 pieces and upload to MU? Or maybe just re-upload to uloz.to for now, I could even PM you my login details and you could upload it as me.
Hi guys, I'm still enjoying my holiday, so I was out of it for a bit. I was really happy to see all the feedback. Just to address a few issues:
re Anakin's eyebrows: It was a tough one and I know it's not perfect but it's the best I could do and I think it certainly beats the hell out of using pure GOUT or G'Kar footage for those shots.
re wipe "frame-rate" problem: Both the shot's were shortened in the SE, so I had to slow them down to keep it in sync with the sound. I know it's not great but it was the best I could do really.
re Puggo: I honestly have no idea. I know that AVCHD is not 100% compatible with all BD players, so it's unfortunately possible.
Make sure you did everything like it says in this tutorial:
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/burn_avchd_with_imgburn.cfm
Alternatively, you could try re-muxing it as Blu-Ray disc rather than AVCHD in TS muxer.
Thanks to bilditup for the spleen upload and to AF for the re-upload of the covers.
Also thanks for the upload of the photos of the finished covers, I'm really happy to see them that way. I'm quite proud of them, you see ;-)
Hi, I was out of it for a while, because I went to London for three days and didn't take my computer with me. I'm still on holiday, so I'm afraid I won't be able to reupload again any time soon and I don't have the original rar files anymore, so I can't upload just that one part anyway. I'd be really happy if someone could reupload v1.0 somewhere (ideally RS or MU) for me and send me the links, so I can put them to paradox. Anyway, as an alternative, it's still being seeded on myspleen.
Thanks to Aluminium Falcon for reuploading the covers!
Yeah, to be honest, I find the new colours more pleasing to the eye and like Frink says, it's hard to tell what is correct here. And Ewan's face seems a more natural colour in the BD picture to me.
Shouldn't the Humdinger be added? I know it's not a deliberate change but it's definitely a visual change.
Except for one or two shots, they never actually fixed that in 97. In the 97SE documentary, they show the shots and you can clearly see it's still transparent: http://youtu.be/V65sZgnVGSQ?t=3m25s
Holy f*ck!!!
The thing is, in this case I'd actually be more inclined to believe that this isn't the footage from the actual Blu-Rays, as they're snippets from documentaries, so they would probably use the 2004 HD master just as it was, just like Empire of Dreams uses a lot of 97SE footage.
I don't know where you get your delusions laserbrains, but the colours in that clip seem to be practically identical to the 2004 version:

Cool :-)
Already did :-) And also clicked thumbs down on that other comment.
That's ok, this is fine as a demonstration. Thanks again :-)

Here they are. Thanks Ripplin :-)
And thanks for giving it another shot, Nero, the spine is centred better in yours but the darkened stripe at the bottom is still there and it ain't no drop shadow either ;-)
Huh? I mean that the letters and logos aren't in the centre of the spine.
Also, it's not designed for the thin boxes in case that's what you're using.
