Sorry, I must have overlooked your previous post as you probably posted it while I was typing mine.
I am a bit pissed off about people posting these without my permission, not just out of principle but the distribution was nicely contained within two sites and now it's beyond my control. I even saw the Uloz.To links reposted on some other site, so I took them down and only kept the MU ones.
It was posted on about ten different sites including the bay. I doesn't bother me, though I must admit it is a bit scary how fast the news travel. I did a little search and there are threads about it in various forums and torrents and stuff. Don't get me wrong, it's flattering and exhilarating but scary at the same time ;-)
Wow, I just discovered that there is a torrent (outside of Spleen) that contains all 3 DeEds as ISO files.
See, that's exactly why I'd never want a Mac. All Mac users seems to have some sort of problem with this kind of thing.
Anyway, the point is that you need to burn both folders with UDF 2.50 setting.
Again, I put the subs in when I was rendering the final output, so no. But I do have some of the test footage, which doesn't have the subs and is nearly finalized - if you used it only to cover up the part where there is the subtitle in the DeEd, it should work fine. Do you want me to upload it for you?

It unfortunately wouldn't be possible to do with GOUT, as it doesn't match to the SE when overlayed (due to some sort of distortion) and the cropping changes from shot to shot (I know because I use the difference filter to match the two sources).

Yeah, when I was doing the cut, I had GOUT there in a small window as a guide, so it's the same as GOUT +/- one frame.

As to the MKV, I was considering a larger MKV release, I even made one for ESB but I compared it to the AVCHD and it looked practically identical, so I decided it would be a waste of space.
Yeah, that Kendo fight is an awesome example, just give them lightsabres and you've basically got the Vader vs.Obi duel. And those are the world masters of ''samurai'' sword fighting, exactly what George wanted.
That longsword fight reminds me a lot of the ESB duel too.
The Episode III Obi vs Anakin duel is the cheesiest in the whole saga. OK, maybe Yoda fighting is even stupider but neither of the prequel LS fights get nowhere near the EpIV fight in terms of emotion.
Yeah but those were deliberate changes, remember? It was only the lightsabres that were treated so poorly by DVD colour space, LOL.
@Ginge: Yeah, it's been brought up before, it should be fixed :-)
@Troy: And I hear the deleted scenes are not HD and are unrestored, so it probably looks like crap.
Mainly, the colour (and brightness) of the rest is the same, so it's definitely not a colour tweak. The over-all picture is still too dark.
Sorry guys, but that is insane. The DeEd credits aren't a part of the films, they're just a thing added to the digital file containing the film and they're staying. I will make sure that the music isn't playing any more though, I never intended for that to happen in SW and it is a mistake, as it sort of does make it a part of the film.
As to the 3P0 shot, it would be doable but I'm not quite sure it would be an improvement.
But seriously, it is indeed really sad that for the first time since 97, they finally decided to go with painted artwork rather then the horrible photoshoped collages and they pick something this ugly. I saw a book of SW art in a book store the other day and there were some awesome pictures there, so it's not like there nothing to choose from. Hell, 90% of deviant art SW pictures I see on the net are better than this.

So, I don't suppose any of the matte paintings shown on the disc are the actual original pre-CGI mattes (I mean out of those that were changed in SE).
