It should work in a PS3 as it is, no conversion needed :-)

Yes, I think this comparison proves it is without a doubt the original.
LOL, he used to be IrnBru, which is very much from Scotland but then he forgot his password :-)
Actually, I just changed the settings of the FFDShow video decoder and re-encoded the video using RipBotX264. But After Effects would be better because it gives you more control. This way on the other hand is faster and easier.
So, how's this going? :-)
I actually like the motion blur on the AT-ATs, nice job. And most of these effects are really quite good for just mockups!
Only, I didn't like the troops debarking (though again, the effect was nicely executed) because it looks like the AT-AT's defecating. Seriously.

Gotta say, your making of videos you did, you speak English better than most Americans. You don't even have much of an accent either.
Thanks :-) Though to be entirely truthful, that's not my natural accent, I think I was subconsciously trying to sound more American, while actually my natural accent tends to be more of a mixture between American, British (and I guess a little bit of Czech) and it tends to shift one way or the other depending on with whom I'm speaking :-)
There are many here about whom I thought they were native English speakers based on their perfect written English, only to find out later that they weren't, so I thought it would be nice to get to know where everyone was from. I know where many of you live already but it would be nice to get to know about the others as well.
So I put this in my signature and I hope others will follow suit:
I'm from Pilsen in the Czech Republic. Where are you from?
BTW. Check out the video linked under Czech Republic. It's funny as hell, yet quite close to reality :-) Although I myself may be the worst Czech ever, because I don't like beer :-)
Yeah, that's the same way it was handled in the old Czech dubbing.

(Shot Spreadshit is missing two.)
Sorry, I just had to ;-)
Anyway, interesting project :-)
And for what it's worth, I thought it was a good one :-)
The HDTV broadcasts are also the best available source for the DVD versions of the prequels.
Interesting that underneath that article, it showed me ads for rape themed films on DVD (one of which was actually titled Jesus Christ - Serial Rapist). Is someone suggesting that yet another generation's childhood is being molested or is it simply Google keeping track of my web search :-D ;-)
I haven't even watched them (I did of course skim through but I didn't watch the whole films) and actually don't ever really plan to. I don't see any reason to expose myself to the horror :-) The only thing I'm mildly interested in are the new cut-together commentaries but I think I'll just demux and roughly sync those to some of the 97SE broadcasts and watch that on my phone or something.
I only got the OT box for cheap from a friend who bought it and then got the saga box for his b-day and that only not to have to resort to piracy - well morally anyway - to watch some HD fan versions and use it for mine. LOL, actually, if I didn't get the Blus, even though I wasn't going to use them for Despecialized at first, I would still have gotten into a strange situation where I would be breaking the new forum rules by watching my own HDTV based edits :-)
Anyway, at first, I kind of regretted not having the bonus discs but I borrowed them from the friend and only watched the deleted scenes (including the prequel deleted scenes - that was a laugh) and looked through the matte paintings to see if there was anything I could use in there and I wasn't really interested in the rest, which I've either already seen or was crap.
Yeah, it starts exactly like in Puggo Grande :-) Now, as the subs had to be done for every inter-positive separately, it's quite possible, probable even, that there were different versions of the subtitles. Actually, the frame that Mike posted in his forum has a subtitle, while in Puggo's the subtitle doesn't appear until one frame later.
As to the profile, I didn't think about it and to be honest, I don't really understand the video standards and stuff but I will probably use high 4.1 for the final encode. Athough, I think that with a lossless intermediate, it shouldn't really matter what profile yours was but what do I know. ;-)
Thanks. Yeah, when I decided to scratch the blue glow and the out of fucus fade ins and I noticed that matte on Mike picture, I though: This is something that'll make it look more like optical compositing. Then of course, I had to make sure it was pretty subtle but I think it works :-)
Anyway, here's the clip as promised: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0JOIS04S
:-)
Oh, yeah, absolutely. I only colour timed the part until Han shoots and didn't do anything with the part after the smoke dissolves. I'm going to tweak that part when I'm editing the scene into the film :-)
Actually (and sadly) no, I'm expecting it to take at least a week :-/
I do have enough space to encode a short video like that in uncompressed format though. But what I need is to convert your whole encode to uncompressed to work with it properly and I do not have enough space for that.
Actually, the "change colour effect" proved useful once again, allowing me to keep the rest pretty much the same, while desaturating the dark green/blue colour of Han's boot.
Also, up until now, I was working with compressed video and the videos I posted were single pass encodes. I repeated the whole process working with uncompressed video every step of the way, making some more, very minor tweaks and I am now encoding a high bitrate 2 pass clip, which I'll upload shortly and which should be the final appearance of the clip at pretty much the same quality as the high bitrate MKV release is going to be :-)
Possibly, yeah. I'll have to see how it looks when I get to it :-)
And thanks guys :-)
So, how's this?

Edit:
Here's basically the same clip in higher quality:
And that's exactly it. The Blu-Ray is by no means only cyan tinted, the colours are screwed in many other ways. And this whole scene has a red/orange, rather than cyan tint on the BD (or the 2004 master generally for that matter). In both the Blu-Ray and your render the shots of Han consist basically just different shades of red, whith a little purple in the BD, which you settings removed. I can definitely see the eyes having a slight red/brown tint in yours - it's very subtle, I'm not saying he looks like a vampire or anything - but it's there.
This is very evident in the BD footage on Greedo as well, who of course, being originally sort of bluish-green colour, isn't affected by the tint as to be red but is kind of brownish purple on the BD.
And I don't see even a hint of cyan in Han's eyes in the picture I posted of my latest render. Actually, it's still a little red, here's a close-up of Han's eye from said picture:
Sorry, Omen, but I disagree. What I'm seeing in your render is the shadows (not the blacks, black is black and can't have any tint because once it does, it's not black anymore) being red tinted, just like the rest of the picture. In fact in the shots of Han, there's basically no other colour than red, even the whites of Han's eyes are red-tinted. Here's a screenshot from yours:
While when you look at my timing above, it reveals a much richer colour palette.
Oh, and just to be clear, it was only that one shot that was different than the others, in which I used the masks.
OK, so I played around with it a bit more and here's the result:
Now, in order to achieve this, I had to use animated masks to cut out elements and colour time them separatelly. I had to separate Han's face and chest, Han's boot, the seat visible on the right and the background.
