This post reminded me of my excitement when I heard the Original unaltered trilogy was coming out on dvd before GL crushed my dreams by not making them anamorphic.

Speaking as one who has been banned from TFn before, I kinda wear it as a badge of honor nowadays. But If you really are tired of StarWars.com go ahead and post whatever you want, whatever tirade, but in a way such as listed before, the logival reasons why ytou have had it with Star Wars. As your last sentence, say your farewell. Then in that way, you leave on your own terms -- before they press the ban button.

Or it could be he said, screw this movie. I'm just gonna ignore it and write a good score.

The PT fans at TF.n are really starting to creep me out and they are starting to get like trekkies. I really think I know the difference in appeal to the PT fans as to the OT fans. It is fascinating to read what makes them love the PT movies so much, but it is alittle scary if you get through all the bull shit of what they like, and instead focus on why they like.
Hey, that's an insult to Trekkies.

Interesting. I was under the impression that "bitch" was never said at all. Is it on the DVDs? I'll have to check that.

Hey I saw it in a theater recently too at SF's Castro theater which an old moviehouse from 1922 and seats 1400. They even have a guy come in playing the wurlitzer organ before the feature. So he played a suite from Advenures of Robin Hood from 1938 and ended with the Raiders theme before the movie started. Great to experience it in the theater gain with people who would hiss the villians, cheer the heror and applaud at the end. And yes, he does indeed say sonof a bitch. He also says holy shit when the nazi sub shows up.

and the people at originaltrilogy.com or .net or wutever have the worst/most ungrateful attitutudes ive ever seen
followed by "they truly are the craziest people on the planet."
I wasn't gonna take that crap lying down so I responded twice and had each response edited. Basically I said that the people at OT cared more and put in more work into the original triloghy than Lucas does or ever will. But I pointed out how skewed everything is at TFN, and I think that was what really got me banned. The official explenation is for "completely derailing the OOT DVD thread with the discussion of fans a mere page after a very clear and very visible (and repeated) mod warning - especially since you've been edited for the same thing just the day before"
