I feel lately that Lucas would have destroyed Star Wars right out of the gate, if he'd had more say AND the technology had been around. If this new Star Wars is what it was meant to be all along then I guess I'm not a Star Wars fan, and it breaks my heart cause I've been one my whole life.
As for 5-25-77, I am currently obsessed with seeing it. I even bought the I <3 Huckabees soundtrack today cause it has the song featured in the trailer for the movie. I wonder what people have thought of early screenings of this film? Especially since it's not finished yet. Anyone who's seen it have any comments they'd like to share? I'd love to hear any more about it.

Yes, you have become obsessed.

But as the Interview is obviously scripted. I'm not even sure the screening even existed.

The only part I didn't like when I was a kid was I thought the Jawa stuff was boring before the droids got sold to Uncle Owen. I thought that dragged. It's not long at all actually, but I was a kid, and I thought it was dragging! But now the only stuff I really don't like are all the SE changes. Blah!!

And it stands out like a sore thumb too.

Luke asked Leia wht she remembered about her "real" mother. So I would guess that Leia knew she was adopted, othewise she would have gone "What the hell you talkin 'bout?"

I have the Faces LDs and the Definitive Edition LDs.

I'm not sure of the source for my unofficial DVD's but I think they are the TR47. They are anamorphic with audio commentaries and are taken from the Definitive Edition.

I remembner when that pic was leaked out on the 'net and everybody I knew thought it looked incredibly fake and amateurish. Unfortunately for us it was not only fake and amateurish, it made it to the DVD.

That would explain a lot and also why so many of the writers for NJO were writers from TSR, of Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms. They are authors used to wriiting for an established universe, too.

Sorry, just watced the last episodes and the Eva movies again. My head still hurts. But in a good way.
