So Handzzz, you mean EU in Star Wars canon is fine, just as long as it's the EU you like? The Mandalorians in TCW are just as much part of the EU as the Outbound Flight storyline is, and there are fans out there who wanted to see them on the screen just as much as you want to see the Outbound Flight storyline in TCW. That said, I'd love to see the Outbound Flight project as the main storyline in a future season of TCW.

Speaking of Outbound Flight, is the book really worth the read? I love the Thrawn trilogy as well, and a book about Outbound Flight with the PT characters sounds like a great read to me. I also like how the tied the PT era and the post-ROTJ era together in the NJO series.

I like the Mandalorians, but not in the clone wars cartoon. The idea is good but the way it told, that bothers me. If you liked the Thrawn trilogy, then you will ike the Outbound flight. Timothy Zahn is a genious.Maybe im a little bit narrow-minded. But i liked some of the episodes of the CW series. :)

Either way, there is no evidence of cloning tech NOW.... but if we shifted the focus from the very beginning in the opening crawl the people will know what to look for and also note the cloning tech added into the movie subtly at first until the very end for the last reveal (the most secure chamber in which would house clones of Amidala but all dead... due to the Trade Fed taking and damaging the cloning tech and life support goes.) Which would be the chamber Obi and Maul have their lightsaber duel in and Qui Gon gets killed. Thing about it... instead of a power generator... how about a small scale cloning facility.

Yes thats a good idea, it explain Jar-Jar... They wanted to clone somebody, but the cloning machine dameged... xD Or They cloned somebody who cloned himself and the poor DNA copy was responsible for Jar Jar. Btw, there is some good ideas in this forum, like the recuted videos.

Would of loved to see Thrawn somewhere in the Clone Wars... In fact that would been an great tie in for that series into later in the EU. You are right though, GL wouldn't do it nor does he really care all to much. Dave Filoni is a hardcore fan and EU knowledgable, he actually attempts to inject as much EU as possible into the Clone War series however some of the more reasonable ideas are rejected.

Vibro-blades with cortosis weaves for example... instead GL said "no, nothing can block a lightsaber" so let's make a "darksaber" (from the new Mandolarian plot story line, don't get me started on how much he's f'd the Mandarlores...). Yet, Episode III has those Phrik electrostaves used by those IG-100 Manga guards of General Grevious... GL literally forgets, doesn't know or care concerning these things and his visions have no continuity anymore. They're on the fly, sporadic, and on the whim.

Neat ships. =D

My favourite character is Thrawn (next Han Solo of course ;) When I learned about that Timothy Zahn writes the Outbound Flight I was so excited, and when it was translated to my motherlanguage it was my first thing to do is buy the book. And wow, Zahn put some awesome story around the trade federation. I didn't read the obi-wan, anakin storyline, simply didn't cared about it. That's the result, when a really creative person have an opportunity to do something. That would be so good that it would be in the Clone Wars series, but knowing the old f**** (GL) it is just a dream.

The Mandalorian storyline is a bad Joke, that thing is a "darksaber?" No comment. I imagined Lucas's thought that "Hmmm, Boba Fett was popular, let's put in the Clone Wars 200 more...!" Bioware do much better job too.

Yep, those should of been there, along with the Victory-class Star Destroyers, the Z-95, Y-wings with it's full armored plating... They should do a Clone Wars cartoon episode of the Katana Fleet. That'd be kinda cool actually...

Personally i liked the first three episodes of the clone wars. There was a chiss, that remined me Thrawn... :) It would be cool that to do an episode for the Katana fleet, but Lucas don't care about the actual sequels. They are way better, than GL's creation... There is a web page, that have a lot of cool art of ships, that looks more Star Wars than the prequels.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Angel, you actually proved my point with that podcar comparison shot. The illusion of the podcar becoming darker as it passes the sun is due to the light bleed surrounding the object fully. As you can clearly see the podcar is in fact the same brightness but the illusion is created. Now the falcon doesn't pass the sun so the light bleeds all around it so the illusion of it becoming darker wouldn't be there. Don't forget that this is still a work in progress so all the colouring etc is incomplete. But the falcon DOES have a strong orange hue. It also hasn't had the shadow pass added as it flies behind the cloud and the engine glows from the pod cars is missing also. But they are above the clouds so light is bouncing from all around off the clouds which would light up the underside of the falcon. The falcon has never been as dark as the cloud it passes and darkening it much more looks odd. But the lighting on the original falcon shot as it passes the cloud is wrong as it has the entire light source coming from below, which made the original falcon look darker.

And angel, the AVCHD TIEs were returned to how they looked originally before the red tint added in 2004 as that was a '97 preservation. They are not as they will appear in ESB:R

Anyway, here's a couple fo photos of the things i ahve been working on recently for the Hoth Troopers 2nd unit shoot

1: backpack frames. Unassembled

2: Trooper costume accessories (the rank insignia, glove decal and hat communicator). These are just the clay versions ready for the silicon moulding stage

I can describe this in one word: awesome! :)

That's a little too close to the title of my EP2 edit, Twight of the Republic.
(people may get the two edits confused with each other)

Yes, that's true. I will watch you're fanedit, getting interested. Hmm.. maybe this two:

-Insurgency in the Republic or Republic Insurgency (I don't know if it's spelled correctly, i'm not live in an english speaking country)

-Dark Retaliation

Tryng to think something else, the story is about faceless enemies, conspiracy, controlled rebellion.

My problem is that I want to keep the menu and the extras of the film. With the program, I cannot do it. So, i decided to writte to this forum. Can you help me, for this. With a HunDub much more people would watch your edit in Hungary, not just fans.
