Unfortunately, I’ve seen it, and I only wish it lived up to its title. I mean, it kind of does, but the premise could have at least made for an enjoyable film. Too bad that’s not the case.

I also listed Airplane as one of my favorite movies, and it rips off most of the script for Zero Hour which is a terrible movie.
But Airplane! uses the material to do something new, Play it Again, Sam is an explicit homage/love letter to Casablanca. One works without having seen the source material just fine, and the other still works, but not as well.
Not really sure what to explain. They’re so different that I love them in completely different ways. It’s really just a coincidence that they are my two favorites. I don’t have to like Casablanca better just because Allan quotes it in Play It Again, Sam.
Fair enough, I guess. I was really just curious what those different ways were.
I don’t understand how you could like a tribute to Casablanca that rips the entire ending sequence almost line for line over Casablanca itself. Could you explain why?

And that would have never happened if not for Lucas? I can’t think of any movies that decided to shoot digital as a direct result of AOTC in 2002.

I didn’t say it was easier, I said it was more comfortable for Lucas. With digital cameras, he could review any scene immediately without leaving his chair.
They had/have that with film too. It’s called video assist.
I don’t really think Yoda acted all that crazy aside from that shot where he kicks his legs around. He was treated much better here than in the prequels (does that even need to be said?) and it’s the first time in a long time I had a genuine smile on my face in the theater.

Asylum (1972)
Managed to get the new Severin Amicus Collection today, and watched this. I loved every minute of it! Peter Cushing is great, as always, and the other three stories aren’t too bad either. Of the two Amicus anthology horror movies I’ve seen (the other being Tales From the Crypt), this is the superior film. It’s just so much fun.

What a sad film. The Japanese storyline was the most interesting, the most powerful, and the most heartbreaking. I almost wish that’s all the film focused on.

Indeed, and I modified the line.
This is currently the “lightest” edit proposed currently. The other two, by Hal 9000 and darthrush, look to be far more extensive in reworking the film. By contrast, I’m just tightening up the film with a few various cuts to my liking.
