Interstellar is overrated though.
Overruled.

Here’s a trailer for what Quentin Tarantino’s Star Trek might look like.
The only way to make Spock Meyers more disturbing is add the Spock’s Brain headset and have someone remote controlling his empty husk to kill. 😉
We so need “like” buttons around here.
Someone once suggested I use this avatar nearly three years ago.
Nope, and I don’t foresee that changing anytime soon.
So, what will the difference between 2.5 and 3.0 be? Resolution?
I really wish I could say more to help. Sorry. Hang in there.
I don’t know about that. Didn’t he say he wouldn’t do it if he couldn’t get an R rating?
Tarantino has required it to be R rated, and Paramount and Abrams agreed to that condition.
Ew, I don’t like sportsball.
Wonder Woman did the impressive thing of being a typical superhero movie that didn’t feel stale. Marvel recently has had to mess with the genre to seem fresh, but I like that Jenkins was able to breathe some life into it while playing it straight.
I must add that it was very predictable.
Not to mention the awful BvS level bad of an ending which absolutely destroyed any sort of theme or message it had and was just a cgi mess.
I agree with both of these posts. It was so good until the last 20 or so minutes.
What’d I miss?
If I was rich I would pay somebody to kill me. Don’t ask for an explanation because I don’t have one even for myself.
That’s the plot synopsis for Bulworth.
Nonetheless.
I still am under no obligation to like it.
You’re also under no obligation to steal Ric Olie’s thunder, and yet here you are.
If art is subjective, and I already said my opinion of the film was subjective, why then do you guys feel obligated to contradict me or say my preferences are in bad taste? Apparently having to defend my position is not a Captain Obvious move if people are telling me my initial reasoning is flawed.
You can say you don’t like a film, you have that right. But you gave nonsense reasons as to why you didn’t like it. Don’t be surprised when you do that, you’ll have someone counter points you make. Better for you to just say it wasn’t for you and leave it at that. But saying the movie is bad because you don’t know the name of a character for 20-something minutes is absurd. But go on and play the victim some more. I don’t understand why you post at all when you take offense to any sort of discussion it generates.
We could repurpose the Last Movie Not Seen thread.
But you’re a computer, it is not as obvious as it seems.
I would like to repeat the sentiments shared by the others in questioning the value of soft subs. The burned-in subs are perfect, and I would hate to have to put up with something that simply emulates perfection, which by definition would be less than perfect.
Don’t be that guy…
My cat is dead.
That is dreadful.
I just listened to John William’s score for Dracula, and I think it would make for a nice replacement score in the sequels, possibly. It sounds a lot like Empire.
Who’s the “Gal” that didn’t make the cover?
And, yeah, Thanos? Even if they were talkin’ all media, not just films, I still can’t see him making the list.
And Robert Patrick over Arnold?
I’m callin’ shenanigans.
It is a cool looking cover though. If they’re taking all of film history into account (rather than just the last few decades as the cover implies), my guess would be the Wicked Witch of the West.
Ooh, good call!
It’s Nurse Ratched.
Does the average person trust a machine to do the driving? How hacker proof are these driverless cars? Ordinary cars with wireless connections have already been hacked into.
I guess it depends when the technology will be reliable enough.
Were both exchanging posts on devices that are wide open to hacking and yet we still bought them.
Who says I bought it?
Seeing the X-Files go on like this makes me sad. I love the early seasons.
Jason and the Argonauts
Great effects, the first half hour was pretty uneventful and the revenge plot really went nowhere, but Harryhausen’s effects hold up and it was quite the spectacle.
Oddly enough, that’s not why you were banned. However, it’s nice to know that the anger from those last few posts has subsided. Welcome back.
I rewatched a lot of Star Wars.
