The Last Jedi: A Light Edit (DISCONTINUED) (* unfinished project *)
Time

I’ll need one composite shot made, after Rey’s first facetime with Kylo, of her looking at the hole she’s made with her blaster. This is necessary to remove the caretakers. Would anyone be willing to help me? Darthrush will need a similar shot as he plans to remove the caretakers as well.

I have also updated my cutlist.

As much as I disliked Dubya and was disinterested in watching his State of the Union addresses for policy reasons, I really can not stand listening to Trump for one second. The man infuriates me on a deeply personal level, for more than just policy. I flat out refuse to waste a moment of my time listening to him blow smoke up the asses of his base.

I felt this last night. For a president to so wildly misrepresent the issues to paint himself in a grandiose manner is gross enough, but to go on about bipartisanship and unity is basically gaslighting, given what has happened in the past year.

Yeah, I kind of can’t believe I watched the whole thing. Talking about bipartisanship while the Republicans give a standing ovation after every point and the Democrats sit and stare is some real doublethink.

My name is David Troutman. I enjoy playing video games (PC or Nintendo, primarily), listening to audiobooks and/or music, playing “Designer” board games, and watching TV shows or movies. My genre of choice is usually escapist fantasy/sci-fi adventure.

Teaching my daughter new things and discovering what she is learning from me or on her own also makes me happy.

Thanks for taking this thread seriously.

I never get the recognition I deserve.

I feel like things are going well overall, despite Trump. But then again, I’m near one of those areas where companies are finally reinvesting in the community. There was a lot of talk that the nearby plant was going to be shut down, and now it’s going to be modernized, quite the undertaking as some of it dates back to the Great Depression!

I have not seen the harm the new policies have caused as of yet, outside of the travel ban, which was atrocious. And Trump is an utterly deplorable man, but that doesn’t even need to be said.

I guess, overall, I feel optimistic. I guess that will change depending on whether or not we have another government shutdown in February.

Oh, you mean those laws that were limited to the Southern states and were first introduced by the Democrat Party, and even when Republicans later began to support those laws, it was still isolated to the South.

It irks me when people conflate the Democratic party of the late 20th - 21st century and the pre-realignment Democratic party that originally represented rural America and the South. In short, the Democratic party was socially conservative until Roosevelt, and even then it took until the civil rights movement for conservative southern Democrats to abandon the party for the Republican ticket.

It is worth noting the Democrat party pretty much fell apart in the late 60s. And LBJ’s motives in the Civil Rights department are debatable.

I know I said I’d never post in this thread again, but someone mentioned the 60s and I feel like I can contribute.
