Been watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and I’m really liking it. It’s very clearly written from a woman’s perspective about a woman in crisis, which doesn’t usually appeal to me, but the show is just so creative and well-written that I can’t help but continue watching it.
Well, blame Reagan for that. The man created a political norm that’s existed right up until now. I’m sure historians will debate whether it ended with Obama or Trump. It’s worth remembering that when Obama was elected in 2008, being for gay marriage was actually the unpopular option. The fact that’s changed, on top of other things, is enough for there to be a debate there.
Fair point (to both mrebo and mfm). As Barack Obama said himself, the minds of the American people (I’m paraphrasing) work like a pendulum. There is no straight line. Another part of it is a rejection of Obama’s ideals, or the liberal’s ideals, after it being what I’d call the dominant way of thinking for much of the decade.
Every living president hates Trump, W. included. That doesn’t mean there is no trend.
The rotoscoping of that Pepsi poster looks awful. It’s a shame they don’t have the unblurred elements.

And to give the Republicans a bone for once, what should they be doing about Trump? Mueller is still investigating, and we won’t see the conclusion of that investigation until the end of the year.

Yeah, I heard the criticisms, but that’s all show so long as nothing is actually being done.
Trumps loyalties have always been devoted to Trump and nothing or no one else. I don’t know the exact reasons but I don’t think there’s any question he’s acting this way to try to protect himself.
Oh, absolutely. Nonetheless, his actions in protecting himself are putting this nation in jeopardy, alienating our allies, and appeasing the Russians at every turn. It’s just gotten so obvious I’m shocked nothing is being done about it.
I held off on believing the Russia thing for a long time, it just seemed too absurd, but I’m now convinced that Trump’s loyalties are in question. I’m very scared.

Have seen lots of silent films in the theater. A couple of times with live organist.
I’ve seen Safety Last! in an authentic movie house of the era, with the organist. It was by far the best movie-going experience I’ve ever had.

As someone who didn’t see Doctor Strange and saw Infinity War, his presence wasn’t confusing at all. I was kind of confused about things that probably happened in Black Panther and Thor 3.
