I have the DVD, I can try to do an upscale but not really worth it if an HD version is already out in the wild someplace.
For the Senate scene, I also think Eddie’s line needs to be a little louder in the mix.

Thanks for doing this darkzip. I just checked it out. Unfortunately you used the NTSC version of ANH:R but didn’t remove the 2:3 pulldown first to return it to its native 23.976fps and has resulted in a 29.97fps file with multiple duplicate frame throughout, resulting in jerky playback. You’re best bet would have been to use the PAl version for the upscale. It has a higher resolution than the NTSC and would result in an even better result. You can then just change the framerate from 25fps to 23.976fps without having to reencode and remux with the NTSC audio
I have the PAL video/NTSC audio remuxed already as well as Topaz. If darkzip isn’t able to do it, I’d be happy to do an upscale similar to what I did with Brave Little Toaster.

Good one! However, I’m constrained by the mouth movements to put the word ‘destroyed’ at the end of the phrase, so perhaps:

What about “And General,” only reason I didn’t have that was because it was repetitive. Also lets the scene breathe a little between C-3PO’s line.

I do! It’s a good reminder not to lose sight of the basics like the First Order’s villainy. Though I wonder if there could be a way to work in their menace without having them outright attack the Republic, as well as offering this peace. In the film Poe looks astonished at the hangar which could mean that they are so reclusive that almost nobody in the Republic knows about them.
I will think on this further.

That’s an interesting take! Because I’m obsessed with crawl-writing, I took a stab at your new idea, although somewhat different. I think it is good to establish the First Order as a threat off the bat, especially given the Jakku village scene that kicks off the film.

I would love to see the plans morph (extract from .zip file haha) from the OG/RogueOne version to the enhanced ones from the original Revisited, just colored white instead of read.
The Skywalker saga is 9 films, like it or not. I like the sequel trilogy so if i want to connect anything to that, then i will.
