I saw someone online say they will make Ryan Gosling’s character in Starfighter Luke Skywalker’s unknown son and he’ll be an adaption of Cade Skywalker from Legends canon, but Luke’s son instead of grandson. Rey would be a supporting character to train him.

When deepfaking started getting good, I had planned to attempt this using a lot of the Hayden interviews that he did for the Obi-Wan Kenobi show. But A.I. at this point would be so much easier, and less awkward looking.
Especially since he needs to be slightly transparent and have a blue hue. It would be a lot easier to avoid the uncanny valley that way.
The hardest part of that, really, is would Padmé really be okay with splitting up her children?
I’d almost think a scene of Yoda leaving a room with a bedridden and clearly saddened/distraught Padmé would be the way to go, and then use AI to edit Yoda’s line, “The mother agrees, hidden, safe the children must be kept.”
Edit Bail’s line to say we’ll take in Padmé and raise her daughter. Also, something about Padmé’s severely weakened health would help.
Use the existing Boleyn footage and run it through AI to better integrate it into the Alderaan environment.
Did a slight rewrite. I think this is a great idea, but I really think the sense of family/inclusion really ties into Rey’s TROS arc more than the failure/fear aspect of it.
The Leia thing is the hard part because it cannot be recent. It needs to be something older for it to make sense in context.

Honestly this all sounds exactly like what people said when the prequels came out. Something like - “None of the sets are real, it’s all green screen CGI slop! Old fashioned filmmaking is better than digital, end of story.” It’s no wonder George has the extreme position on AI that he does, he’s heard all of this same stuff before and is likely sick of it.
No point in arguing. Some people will always have a closed mind when it comes to AI. I work with it every day and have seen both the benefits and negatives of it. Give it 10 years and revisit it. I remember when people were arguing that digital art was not actually art because it was done on a computer and not by hand…
An internal search page would be pretty sweet if that could be easily added!

The line does sound great, but I think it needs to be mixed in a little better/quieter into the mix

Might I suggest:

Or you can even say “But the demoted don’t need-to-know this plan.”
Much better. I would suggest Leia being first on Luke’s mind over Han though.
The problem with that is it isn’t his (Ben’s) sacrifice, it is Luke’s choice:

This is a great idea! If this could be added to @Poppa’s edit and remove the Luke matrix scene it would be an 11/10 fanedit for me.
