Star Wars Prequels/Original Trilogy: The Complete Scores (Released)
Time

Alright... a little news... I spoke to my brother whom I trust much more than anoyne when it comes to computers (he's only been building and programming them since the 80's lol!)

Anyway, he looked up the manual for the motherboard I have (would never have thought of that) and VERY CLEARLY... it states that the Northbridge has a tendency to overheat and will cause the system to lock up... I forget the term he gave but EXACTLY what my computer does.

It states a fan MUST be placed over it to keep it cool... So that it my duty today... to find a fan that sufficiently sucks... air off the northbridge... which may also include having to build some aparatus to hold it in place and a tube for it to suck the air off the MB with... oye!

But yea... fire hazard...eek...

So I'm going to do that today-now in fact... a LOT cheaper than getting a brand new mother board lol...

I'm not sure... I'm still digging through files...

I've unfortunately had to hold off on this for the moment... Suffice it to say my computer is not doing well.

I've always had the issue with it not wanting to play video games and crashing... but it would seem that the mother board I have (I built the computer with help from some more computer savy friends) has a tendency to set things on fire... yea...

And right now it's running at a critically hot temperture... so I'm trying not to leave it on long... and not do too many labor intensive things until I can get it checked and possibly buy a new motherboard which could be by the end of this week, need be.

But I am still doing the set... I just don't want to risk looseing everything right now... not to mention I'm wanting to build up my ability to write and produce my own music... which is what caught me onto this. I wanted to be sure my computer could handle it...and things came to light so...

Lets just say when your computer is running at nearly 200 degees farenheit, there's soemthing to be worried about lol!

I'll keep you all posted

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

So say we all Husker!

Gotta say though, I do think that it almost seems like a lot for a little... something Ady has done yes, but at the same time, everything he's "fixed" he's...well... "Fixed."

It's always been my understanding that Lightsabers do not actually emit ambient light... which seems contrary to common sense (as is fire/sound in space etc.) But it's been the rule I thought.

I realize that the prequels kinda..did their thing... I love them, but I dunno if that's the "model" you should go for...

I mean it's idealistic... and I almost think it's one of those things he could do to add his own touch... but at the same time he has sooo many other things he's doing. Building the model is only half of it

Hey... sorry about the issues your having. I'm not sure I or anyone here truly understands what you mean but if it is what we think it is, then when you get the new set, I think that any issues you're having will be resolved.

Right now, I had to stop working on the set for about two days as I moved to Texas. I'm not sure I mentioned that I was doing that lol... but I'm here now... and my computer is set up and with only a minor damage to my LCD screen (sadness) I'm gonna get back to work. I suppose that for 14 hours bouncing around in a car, it's not that bad.

I hope to have more of the set done by tonight. I listened to my star wars scores on the way here... only got to Han Solo being placed in Carbonite (then the zune's battery died) lol... but I was practically here anyway so I have some ideas on things to fix.

Right now there's not much to say except I'm working on Episode I. I had nearly finished Disc 1 before I left so that's about where I stand right now.

Will let you know

I hadn't heard if all of the session tapes for ROTJ had been found but I know that at the time of the SE's being made... they had no time for one, and for two had poor masters... and so what we got was a pretty sad set.

Not to mention they cut music no longer heard in the film like the original finale music and the Lapti Nek. THe music didn't fit for one, was no longer used for two, and couldn't be located for three...

My sets I hope improve upon this... I'm gonna push my luck and see if I can't upload them all back on the site agian.

I'm sorry I don't quite follow... I think what you mean is what I'm takling about... how sometimes I don't have a clean ending or opening, sometimes a track will start with how one ends... not much I can do really... I try to add a couple seconds inbetween of dead air that would help but still...

I just mean that I'm not sure what I can do... I don't use iTunes... I abhore it

overlap? gaplesS?

If I'm understanding what your asking, the answer is no. It only takes about 5 seconds to layer the tracks if that's wha tyou desire. My intention was to create a veritable resource of John Williams music... trying to track down and present it as recorded...all of it... endings and all... if in some cases, I can find a clean ending but no beginning to the next cue, I do my best... but I would recomend downloading something and just layering them if it bothers you tha tmuch.

He did... I just spoke to him and it would seem he's had a hard drive crash... I know people out there have his sets but... suffice it to say... it doesn't look good

I get it, I can already hear you all

"You're my only hope" I get it... lol

I' can't promise much... I'm gonna see what I can do. The reason I've not wanted to release my sets lately is also to deal with the issue that we have a lot of new discoveries that I just havn't been aroudn for...so... I'm gonna try to redo my set. I've already begun work on Episode I.

I'm going to then forward the work to Ggctuk who knows things I don't, and ge this input...and in the end... I hope to ahve the best set out there.

I'm going to update a few tracks from Episode III as well with the newly realized material... and past a few tweaks here and there, The sets will be reuploaded...

I'm ... sorry again for the lack of time... life... you know? heh

Anyway... soon

I apologize for my dissapearance... I've been busy. I'm in the middle of moving. I would recommend speaking to ggctuk abuot getting his edit... it's a bit more up to date than mine and I havn't had the chance to correct mine yet or have a talk with him. If you can get a hold of him, maybe he'll be able to get you an edit similar to mine.

heres where the general grevious and elevator scene should syncin a video edit I mad

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U37CqlVelPE

As for inverted channels, there are two issues:

one- the anthology has a few tracks where the channels are completely flipped (right for left, left for right)

The SE however has JUST the horn channels flipped. This is an irreconcilable error unfortuantely. I have a cue breakdown that shows which ones are right and wrong. It's every track that was remixed for the SE and that the origianl Thornton mixes didn't exist...

It's a lot of the tracks sadly. The best ones too... main title, alt probe droid, battle in the snow, the asteroid field if I recall right, as well as hyperspace as a lot of the yoda music and Imperial March.

to be honest, ive never tried to sync boys into battle up. i dont think there should be any issues, but if your having some, it may be the mix points between the tracks. dont use the suite i made. use the first couple tracks on the album. it should fit but know there is still a bit of music near where they fly into the hangar thats missinh. also the music that isnt missing but if for the fight in the hangar is synced wrong in the film. it should actually end, not with obiwan striling down the droid as hejumps from his fighter, but rather with the cut to general grevious. what exactly is meant to go in that expanse past the partially unreleased part is unknown. it may not have been meant to be that long of a shot and they extendwed it but left the music. sry that its not proving easy
