You could use a site like Photobucket, otherwise I'd be happy to host them for you.

If nothing has been done to help you over the next few days I'll be able to help you (haven't burnt discs yet, the computer containing it wont be online for a few more days). I don't have the Mono Mix disc yet though, so I don't have any DVD-ROM content for that, if there is any.

Unfortunately I can't help you with your request, but if I can help in the future then let me know.
So many primary school recesses were spent talking about what happened on the last night's episode! I haven't seen this show in many years, but still a favourite. It seems too many of my current friends were too young to remember it, so I'll be able to introduce them to it now.

Actually, I'm fairly sure that both those line variants weren't in the original original mix, but I'd guess that they will be present on the new DVD as it will likely use the second mix (the stereo one).
Probably very wrong though! Been a while since I've read what was in what mix.

Wait. Please explain that to me.
Basically, TP was upgraded from GameCube game with Wii functionality to fully-fledged Wii game, but as Nintendo promised many times that it would be released on the GC they have made two versions to keep that promise.
Apart from the control changes, the Wii version is widescreen, whereas the GC version is only capable of 4:3.

I was actually the 'official' host of this video for a fair while, back before it was hosted by TF.N.
It is Ryan that now works at LucasArts, but it wasn't solely because of this video (I think most of the effects work on that particular video would have been done by Dorkman), his other projects would have been what really got him the job. His employers were impressed at his inventiveness and ability to figure out ways to duplicate effects, etc.
He was most well known at TF.N for developing a technique with a friend for rotoscoping lightsabers in Photoshop or After Effects. This method looked better than nearly everything that was done in fanfilms before, and a lot better than was done on the last two prequels. I believe some at LucasArts petitioned ILM to use him for some of the saber work in Ep3, but that never came about. Though now you can see one of his sabers on the Ep3 DVD in the doco about the Ep3 video game; at the very end of the video Anakin fades from actor to game character (I think, been a while since I saw it) and ignites the saber. If your eagle eyed you'll actually spot him in the background of the doco several times during the lightsaber training sessions with Nick Gillard and Hayden Christensen, unfortunately never actually fighting. Funnily, the reason why he is only ever in the background is because he was too good and these LucasArts employees were meant to look like they were learning! If I remember correctly Nick used him for demonstrating most of the lessons, but I think he missed out on working with Hayden.
Just read through the linked comments and looks like RvD2 is in the works, they just need donations to hire the location (it was donated to them last time). If you're interested visit ryanvsdorkman.com.
Their effects work can also be found in a few more fanfilms at TF.N, including the cool The Formula. I think they may have even contributed a little towards Iron Fist of the Obsidian Sith, though that may have been a bit before their time. I've been out of the 'fanfilm scene' for too long, so I don't know of their recent work. I think I might download some fanfilms this weekend!

A similar technique can be used to remove watermarks from images and video.
I haven't used either technique in over four years so I won't be much more help; I might have another go at it this weekend to refresh my memory.

The usual method, though this particular example threw in a few more steps since it was running through Flash.
You just need a basic knowledge on how web streaming works. In the most basic situations (such as how own sites), the file is saved somewhere on the server, then another file is created that simply redirects to that file. This file is the one that is presented to the viewer, so if you download it you only have a very small file that when played still streams the content off the web. You need the actual file and therefore need to know where it is, so you obviously check the file that points to it. You do this by opening it up in a text editor as usually it is just plain text inside it. Sometimes it will point to multiple files, some are for different bandwidth speeds of the same content, or, in the case of this MTV video, it is like a playlist, first showing a splash video before showing the actual video. In the basic cases you can just download this file as it is uploaded to the file server just like a regular file (such as the case of the Special Effects IMAX video I posted here on request a few months ago).
Bigger sites will employ an actual streaming server or service though. In these cases the video file isn't on the regular server, but another that only the video client can connect to, one the web client can't. You can usually tell this as instead of starting with http:// the URL will start with something like mms:// or rtsp://. In these cases it is usually impossible to conventionally download the file (though in rare cases you can acheive a downloadable link by modifying the URL). For these you need a program that can record the streaming data into a usable file, basically like tape recording. I don't recommend any particular program as I don't usually require one so I just downloaded a random one for this situation. It was free but I won't mention it in case it contains malware. If you only want the audio from a stream then it is much easier, you just need a sound recorder/editor.
As I mentioned, this MTV case had additional steps due to the Flash, still simple though. You couldn't find the reference file by simply looking through the page source, at first I thought I was going to need to decompile the Flash file, but in the end you just had to right click the playing video and select Properties. This then gives the link twister111 supplied.
Yes, but I don't approve of ripping content from those sites as it is unjustifiable piracy. Each time you watch a video on one of those sites the video creator gets a little bit of cash. The way this works is the site splits its advertising profits with all the videos on site, each creator gets a percentage based on how many times their video was watched. If a video receives no views during a particular time period then they receive no cash. If you download videos that you enjoy then you aren't rewarding its creator. They usually don't get a lot (though it has at least paid back the creation cost on a few videos an old friend made), but considering it basically costs the viewer nothing to stream the video they may as well do it the right way. In the case of these MTV videos anyone benefits per view, it just costs MTV bandwidth. Possibly the bands might make something per view, and if these ever came out on DVD it obviously would be unjustifiable. In my case I had to download it just to view it properly, the screen would go black, change hue to green or even flip upside down in WMP!

twister111, I wish you'd been a bit faster with that link, I had to boot up Internet Explorer (blech!), then spend some time upgrading its Flash plugin, before I could get it. Would have prefered just getting the link from you!
Anyway, I'll shortly have a copy of the actual non-streaming file uploaded in a couple of minutes (web is going a bit slow tonight).
[edit]Not only was it a bit slow, it completely dropped out just after I finished the download! Uploading now. File is about 30MB.[/edit]
[edit2]Grrrr... Dunno what is wrong with the office connection, but the upload failed 20MB into it, took forever to get there too! This 'couple of minutes' might become a couple of hours! Let's try again...[/edit2]
[edit3]Finally, here 'tis!
I'm used to having hundreds of gigs worth of monthly bandwidth, but recently downgraded and can't remember how much bandwidth I now have. I doubt enough people visit here for it to kill my site though, and before long this thread will be dead and buried anyway![/edit3]

Reading this thread I presume that Sony is now reknown for failing to win marketshare when it comes to their proprietary technology. There was this great video technology, due to come out shortly after I left Earth, that contained Sony proprietary tech. Can someone tell me how it faired on the marketplace? I think it was called... ummm... 'DVD'.
[/sarcasm]
I'm so glad Jay has set the record straight about the DVD compatibility myth here. Whenever people bring up that arguement up as a benefit of HD-DVD it bugs the hell out of me! Sure, HD-DVD is 'compatible' with DVD, but Blu-Ray Discs currently are 'more compatible' since you can include both formats on the side of one disc.
I do have a question for the tech heads here though. Is there any previous examples of a technology winning marketshare over its competition due to, or simply with, its name being similar to the previous generation's tech? The reason I ask is because a lot of people have been suggesting HD-DVD will win the market war due to the inclusion of DVD in the name and I can't think of any examples in tech history that would prove this true. VCD didn't beat DVD and D-VHS doesn't seem to be making much of a dent in mindshare.
If the battle is decided based on the format name then I really wish Blu-Ray wins, I couldn't stand having to say HD-DVD each time a movie release is discussed. I'm just glad I don't have a stutter (though saying HD-DVD almost makes it sound like I do)! The two syllables of Blu-Ray and BD are much easier on the tongue. Though I'll probably end up calling them Blurries or Beadies...

Again, as zion also said, only burners that specify the capability can burn DL media as it is fairly different to regular burning. Most burners produced in the last few months do, not many at all before that do.

You have to be careful with NTSC not to end up with a doble pedestal, i.e. that if your Source is IRE 7.5 for black, and you don't do your mastering right, when you stick it in a US DVD player, it will apply the uplift to 7.5 IRE again! This leaves you with very grey blacks, and a *reduced* luminance range.
I've measure the black bars on the US definitive edition, and they are (damn close to) 7.5IRE, which means they should be BLACK when played back on an American laserdisc player on an American TV set. Which also means on any transfer they should be black when played back thorugh an Amercian DVD player on an American TV set. Anyhting else means you aren't getting the full range, or a correct looking picture. So in short we will be doing it right, if it should be black, it will be black.

I'm glad someone has finally explained this! I've often been confused when people would mention correcting the black would reduce detail, never made any sense at all to me. This flawed fix of the original flaw now makes that make sense.

Oh, if it is in the Wikipedia it MUST be real!

Jokes aside, this is old news. As others have said, this isn't the old school 3D, or even very similar to more recent attempts. This is a new method that has apparently blown away many major directors and producers, George Lucas is only one of many backing this new technology, Peter Jackson, James Cameron, Robert Zemeckis, Robert Rodriguez and Randal Kleiser have also been quite vocal about it. Peter Jackson has hinted that he wants to get The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and a few of his other films converted (and has shown excerpts of LotR).
The old 3D films were created using a camera system consisting of two lenses, basically two cameras connected. Obviously Star Wars, etc, wasn't filmed with such cameras so the new method actually figures out a z-plane based off the standard flat film so George doesn't even need to touch the film, the one company (In-Three Inc) does all the conversion so he doesn't have much to compell him to further edit the actual film.
Lucas has actually already showed excerpts of Episodes II and IV. Currently the plan is one episode each year starting in 2007 for the 30th anniversary. Then you can look as stylish as these guys!
