Its really hard to get the right balance between shots as it keeps changing levels. i doubt i'm going to be able to get it exactly right, but it's still going to look better than that horrible blue tint the DVD has.

Wow I didnt know you were going to do color correction as well, your crazy but in a good way

If its too much to go into its fine but I was wondering whats your prcoess to correcting the colors and other technical mishaps with lightsabers?

Darth Editous Slowly getting there. I'm just moving some starfields before the jump to hyperspace, and then I might do something with that "I know a few manouevres" shot where the Falcon performs no manouevres whatsoever, though it will be an edit of the original shot, rather than a new composite from ESB like Adywan's.

Sounds good, are you working on this as well as ESB at the same time or do you have ESB on hold?

Darth Editous There's also the light coming from R2's projector that is missing in one or two shots (though it never really bothered me) which is mentioned on the starwars.com changes list.

I just read the changes from starwars.com and was surprised about the projector light, never really noticed it either.

Darth Editous In answer to a question in my ESB thread, this will be available as PAL DVD, NTSC DVD, and 700mb XVID.

Thats great I cant wait for this, You have reinvigorated my enjoyment of this movie higher than its been in years.

Sounds great I didnt mean to sound like a pain I’m just rather excited for this release considering how great it looks.

One thing I did mention to Darth Editous was the scenes aboard the Falcon when Luke is training ( I know you probably want to punch me already ) when the view shows C3P0 R2 and Chewie at the table and Ben off to the left, Lukes actual blade continually looks to get off kilter with the hilt, the blade jumps around from the edges of the hilt back to the center and in some shots it actually looks to bend at an angle. I dont know if its something you can look at or not.

Keep up the great work

As for Han, I think he can shoot as many times as he wants, especially since we never saw how many times he fired in the OUT

Here's some screenshots of some of the new changes (thanks to Sluggo for pointing out the third one):

If you do get a chance to look at the "jumpy lightsaber" I think the scene it looks its worse is right after Alderaan blows up.

But if you listen to the Original Unaltered version you can clearly hear that there is only one Blaster being shot only once.
"Your eyes can decieve you dont trust them."

But I dont mean to bust them for you, these new lightsabers look pretty great, you do wonderful work.

I know "No Lightsabers" but Im not talking about the correction youve heard 100 times over

Every time on the falcon that they show Luke tanning with the view showing C3P0 R2 and Chewie at the table and Ben off to the left, Lukes actual blade continually looks to get off kilter with the hilt, jumping around from the edge of the hilt to the center.

One other thing, Can Han only fire one shot

I hope this meets with some approval...

ehhh I don’t know I guess I cant get use to seeing most of his face revealed. Compared to the original where you see nothing below the chin, nearly none of the cheek area and the entire forehead is covered in shadow.

That actually sounds like a good idea...more cloaked like he was in TMP/AOTC is what I guess your going for.

Im sure youll end up making it look great, you do better work than a digital Titan (Lucasfilm) and have less to work with and do it with no monetary gain which is awesome.

Sorry if I was coming off as a dick before. Cant wait to see the final version
