Why bothering explaining yourself, its for your own personal gratification and for the fans that would appreciate it and there’s no shortage of people who feel what you are doing is great and would be doing the same thing if they had the knowledge and know how. Let the complainers complain, I cant say from specific film experience but altering something and tweaking it to your liking is a pretty cool feeling and its going to be cool as anything for you to sit back and watch this when its all done and think I made this what it is, and thats awesome. And most everyone on here engaged in edits are IMO doing a helluva lot better than Lucas/LucasFilm have done with the movies in the past 29 years.

Of course we're bummed we more than likely won't see it, but we don't get all antsy about it and do a virtual storm out of the room about it.

Tell that to the people who have completely given up on star wars in recent years over many things.


If you are done with it all, if you can't take the tantilising snippets of goodness that come from the project, then by all means stop reading the threads, it's just very childish to tell everyone in such a rude manner that you're doing so.


I explained my point and agreed I was out of line and tried to amend it. However if people want to continue to criticize me for how I acted when they are on the very site that begun a huge outcry and division among fans for basically the same thing I am doing you may want to look up the word hypocrite. Otherwise I tried to move on amicably and make my peace with this. Theres really no more that needs to be said about the subject.

Its frustration and if I expel it in ways that aren’t that good, then ok I don’t

I havent personally attacked him and Ill still say hes a wizard and what he does is phenomenal but it still doesnt change the fact no matter how you view this its still frustrating for a fan whose chances of seeing it are slim.

You cant expect to tote around "The Best" restoration of this movie in essence saying its one of the best versions created and then say oh but you wont be able to see it, without people getting a little put off by that. Its almost like GL who for years said, no the original versions dont exist anymore (more like a little kid NO YOU CANT HAVE THEM). People got mad at him wrote him letters, created petitions (this forum) and now Im getting ridiculed for basically the same thing most did on here. Yeah its a different situation as he does not own the movies, its just a trying situation and I couldn’t keep my composure about it any longer. If I am to be written off as some crazy kid cause I got up in arms about not being able to see this, then so be it. But don’t act like the majority here didn’t act the same way and still to this day get a bit kooky about not being able to see the version and or the best quality of the movie they would like.

I thought it was going to be 5 mins of Legacy as well.

Thats amazing how good you got that to look in 5 mins time, WHY THE HELL DO YOU TEASE US LIKE THAT. I seriously wish I never saw that because Im always going to be thinking how much of a better version I could be watching (Not that I bought the 06 release) but what a bummer, I am bummed right out and Im starting to realize why so many people are giving up completely on Star Wars anymore.
