Adywan, you are right about all of that.  That makes total sense.  I just see it in my head and it looks so good, but I wasn't being realistic.  Now that I think about it, I don't know what I was thinking. Can't wait 'til 2010.  This looks better than ANH.

Also, what are the plans of showing Coruscant in the OT?  I heard that it is a possibility.

Does anyone think that Vader's entrance in the Hoth battle is weak?  He comes out of nowhere.

Why isn't there going to be a ground battle on Hoth?  I know that it would take alot of time to do, but it would make sense if there was one added.  Mabey if Lucas does an edit, this will be added.

I think some PT music should be added.  Nothing noticible, but just background music.  The PT's music is much more epic than hearing the same old Imperial March every scene.  Mix in a sad version of force theme from the PT when the Empire is close to winning.

At least add some epic music to the Vader/Luke scene.

Anakins Betrayal would work somewhere to.

  I believe that to.  There are some chilling scenes and emotional highpoints in these movies.  I had the weirdest feeling at the end of ROTS.  It's is all the other stuff that could use some work.

Couldn't "Anakins Betrayal" song go somewhere in ESB or ROTJ?  Like at the end of the Hoth battle or somewhere else.

Adywan is enhancing alot in ESB. There is really no complaint about it.   Alot of it is change for the sake of change. Is it not? Making Hoth and Bespin look nicer and upgrading the Asteroid Chase doesn't advance the plot.  But it does make the movie more enjoyable.

So what are some of your ideas of plot advancing changes guys?  There really aren't a whole lot.  I would be open to any plot advancing scenes.  But at the end of the day, most of the changes will be to make the movie better.

Actually, some of the best movies now have great fx.  Like the Batmans, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, just a few of them.

Mabey we have a misunderstanding.  All the pictures that people are posting here are CG right? Or fx?

These movies arent just 80's movies anymore, there a part of a saga.  In 20 years, these movies will be considered as a saga, not classic 80's movies. 

I don't know why you guys are so afraid of adding CG to an alredy strong plot.  Cleaning things up would greatly enhance viewing and make them feel new.  I personally don't want too much CG, but the end space battle needs alot of improving.

It is the only space sequence to look fake. The sail Barge needs a ton of improving and I wouldn't be sad to see it totally cut from the movie (it obviously needs to be there but it is the worst battle in all the movies)

If Dagobah is going to be added to the beginning, how will Luke get to Jabba's Palace?  He would fly his ship. So have a scene of him flying in to Tatooine like Obi-Wan and Grievous on Utapau, and then have him have his conversation with Ben right before he is going to go in to Jabba's.

Could Luke and Bens conversation be moved to later in the movie somewhere?

I think both ideas would improve the movie.  Bike or ship.  I really want Dagobah to be moved to the beginning.  So speeder bike would be cool to.

There is nothing wrong with CG ships.  That has come a long way and looks real now. 

And Yes, when I said move the conversation, that also means start Luke on Dagobah. 

The only way Luke on a speeder bike would make sense is if he and Obi-Wan have their conversation in Ben's hut.  Then from there have him ride a speeder bike across Tatooine.  With a lot of editing, that could be an ok possibilty.

But I would rather have a pretty CG scene of Luke flying in and across Tatooine.  Like Obi-Wan and Grevious did on Utapau in ROTS.  That would be much easier to do and alot more realistic.

I don't see why not.  It would be something nice to look at on Tatooine in ROTJ.  Everything on Tatooine is plain and dingy.  It's not like that in other movies on Tatooine.

I finished watching Fan-O-Matic 2 and I agree with almost all of it.  I really like how it is skipping around.  I'd split up the long, boring scenes in the beginning and combine the important scenes at the end.  The one thing was that I didn't like how it starts at Jabba's.  All the movies start in a space scene.

Alright, you guys are getting me all excited about this TPM CG Yoda talk.  I hope this is true.  As for ESB and ROTJ, I think that Adywan is handling it perfectly, just CG his lips and his fake movements.  CG is not nearly good enough yet for them to replace something so famous.

I just hope they don't replace the wonderful puppetry in Empire and Jedi. At least the Jabba puppet in Jedi would probably be too expensive and too difficult to replace completely with CG, so I think that's safe for the most part.

Lucasfilm definatly has the money.  Even if they would release a new version of this film, it would make them a huge profit, way more than the money it would take to re-edit things.

Will we see the planet that the DS orbited in ANH Revisited again?  Where could it be shown later in the trilogy? 

There is really no point of it, but mabey someone could have a cool idea to do something with it.

I just watched some of the fan-o-matics on youtube, and it is amazing how added music can make a scene more dramatic and intense.

I still think that adding PT music (not noticible ones like battle of the heroes, duel of the fates) would help some of the boring Endor scenes alot.  Just background music.  John Williams has alot of variations of the force theme that should go in the OT.

I really would like to hear the goodbye old friend version of the force theme in the OT.  It is epic.

Great picture of Coruscant.  Honestly, I didn't know that a Statue was even being torn down at the end of the movie.  I always thought that it was just a celebration.  

Adding some footage would be a great way to end the saga.  Mabey show the statue up close and it being torn down.  Mabey do an area view of Coruscant and get a better shot of the Jedi Temple.  I want to know that it is there, not just a distant shot of it.

If Coruscant is going to get that much attention at the end of the movie, then shouldn't it be shown earlier in the OT to still hint that it is there?

I'd like to hear some others thoughts for how to show Coruscant or the Temple in the OT.

Bingowings said that Ady would consider doing something like this.  But none of this is for sure.

What do you think he will do with Coruscant or the Temple?  You would have a better idea than me.

Ady is planning a major overhaul of the space battle effects for ROTJ:R, mostly the old fashioned way with models but that's just surface detail.

That's good news.

I'm not trying to make the amazing OT the dissapointing PT.  I just think that a beautiful space battle would really upgrade the film.

Would it work if Vader and Sidious had a duel?  That would be a great way to end the saga and it would mirror what happend at the end of ROTS.

Also, is it possible to have Yoda talk to Luke after Yoda dies?  This would go somewhere on the DS.

The storyline is obviously there.  Now ROTJ needs a visual makeover.  You'd be surprised how much better the movie would be with new special effects.

CG ships look good now-a-days.  It would look good and upgrade the movie alot.

If you guys aren't for any change, then why are you here?

There are things that just need to be changed.  Lightning really isn't an important change, but it should look more like lightning. 

I don't know why we have even been talking about this so long.

I know that the PT looks stupid now due to way to much CG, but alot of it looks pretty good.  At least better that some effects in ROTJ.  I wan't these movies to feel brand new with nice effects not dark and dull visuals.

I'd take a space battle that looks like the ROTS one than the ROTJ one any day.
