Changes you would like to see in prequel special editions
Time
I can see Alec Guiness's Ben Kenobi waking up on a couch. "Wow, was Anakin really a whiny brat, Yoda not quite... real somehow, and I fought against evil villains with stupid names like Count... Dooku?! And General... Grievous?! Oh, thank the Force, it was only a dream! Well, now it's time for me to go to my job at a shoe store and ogle all the beautiful women. And when I get home, I'll sit in front of the TV with my hand down my pants."

Yeah, some of it looks rather strange to me, but some of her newer stuff I'm enjoying more. I especially loved the cover for Order of the Phoenix. To be honest, even with the first three American covers that I think look weird, I still prefer the American cover art to the British covers. Do the British versions have any art inside the books, like the chapter headers of the American versions?

I wouldn't say that necessarily, because, (and I do only have the paperbacks for 1-5, so I might be wrong although the pages correspond exactly to their US hardcover counterparts) but Order of the Phoenix's text was much smaller with much less spacing than its predecessors, and that one was as long as all get out, so are you sure Half-Blood Prince didn't simply go back to the earlier styles of spacing? And even so, I really have no problem with it anyway. Hell, Barnes and Noble knocked off about ten dollars from the label price, so I'm not complaining!

George's directorial style
Time
I'm sure a lot of posters here have problems with other directors as well, but you have to remember the purpose of this site and these forums. A lot of the people who do have venom and spite against Lucas will end up coming here, obviously. And, most of the time, it isn't really relevant to talk about whether or not some other director royally screwed something up.

I really don't see what's so bad about the new movie. I still can't find my copy of the book, but I did watch Willy Wonka and Charlie practically back to back, and, well, here it goes, I like the new one better. Phew. There. I said it. It took me a week before I was finally able to openly admit that. Flame me all you want, but I was surprised too. Maybe it's just because I'm older now, but those Oompa Loompa songs in Willy Wonka started to really grate on my nerves after a while. I loved how the new version explored many different styles of music rather than the exact same song with different words. And while Depp's Willy Wonka might not be too accurate to the book, I really liked the character. The backstory I had no strong feelings about, but it was pretty entertaining, especially the "flags of the world" gag. And I found Mike Teavee much more fun to watch in this movie.
