What is your favorite film of the six?
Time
I've read a lot of posts by people here who consider their own perfect trilogy to be Sith, Star Wars, and Empire. I can't really speak for anybody other than myself. And I thought Sith was pretty good (although I enjoyed it much less the second time when I brought out my more critical eye), but... Well, when I own all six, I might watch I-VI just once in that order, but my usual viewing would (and has been) to watch just the original trilogy or to watch the OT followed by the PT. I personally will always have that dividing line. I couldn't make sense out of the Sith, Star Wars, and Empire trilogy because they simply don't belong together in my opinion. The original trilogy tells one story, and the prequel trilogy tells another story that tries to explain the events in the original trilogy's story. That's how I view it, so I don't think it's possible for me to mesh them together, especially by taking 1/3 of one story and 2/3 of another story and trying to mix them together.

The Empire Strikes Back for me. As a kid and even now, when I watch the trilogy, my excitement builds and peaks at Empire. The action is more intense. The story darker. The suspense... suspenseful. Star Wars comes in at a close second because it's just so classic, timeless, and mythologically based. Then I'd have Return of the Jedi. In watching the trilogy, my excitement always started to wane a little bit at this time, but it still kicks ass with the Luke/Vader relationship, and Lando flying out of the Death Star trench. Then I guess the prequel trilogy would go in reverse. So my list is
ESB
SW
ROTJ
ROTS
AOTC
TPM

And AWK, I have no problem with your favorite movie being Sith, but "despite... CG"? How many times have you said that you love CG, and that it's better than its predecessors and how you want a digital Yoda in the original trilogy? I have nothing against your views, but could you please state exactly what those views are and stick with them?

You get to have sex until you're married... then you can never do so again? Um.. you might want to reword that.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but I decided I wasn't going to touch that one myself. You never know. Maybe that's what he actually meant!!!

Actually, I'd support it very strongly. I don't particularly like the prequels, but they deserve to be released in their original form. At least the original trilogy got that, and now we can get LD transfers to satisfy our needs. But Lucas beat us to the punch with these. And it makes me very sad that no one else cares.

I see where you're coming from, but anyone other than those three appearing to Luke just makes no sense. His two mentors, and the father he just saved but barely knew. Which is also why it makes no sense for Hayden to be there because Luke would have no idea who he is. This is all about Luke. Luke's story has come full circle, and now Luke gets to view those who helped him so much one last time before getting to move on. Lucas stating that Anakin is the true main character of Star Wars just takes away so much.

Hopefully nothing worse than that. I remember Ninja Turtles had figures like that back in the day, but I can understand that with the whole mutant aspect. This is just... bad. I mean, to be honest, it looks pretty cool, but it's just a stupid idea. It makes no sense. It makes about as much sense as when they put guns with the Dragon Ball Z figures.

Did he actually do that? That doesn't make much sense, though, does it? He's not a member of the DGA, is it?
