Star Wars Trilogy tops IGN's "Most Wanted DVDs"

It stands for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Obviously, it was started quite a while ago when African-Americans were lacking in basic human rights, but now that those days are, for the most part, gone, it exists almost solely to whine about perceived or non-existant racism. And, usually, to speak out against it means you're a racist. And I'm not, but I'm tired of organizations that claim that if you don't agree with them, you must not agree with their message and are, therefore, a horrible racist/sexist/unpatriotic person.

I agree with you right there. If you can avoid putting chemicals into your body, then you definitely should as oftentimes, newer natural remedies are better with less side effects (as opposed to old timey herbal remedies which could be disasters). I'm not quite sure of their logic of banning psychology, though. I read the comic 8-bit Theatre (http://www.nuklearpower.com), and the author's friend killed himself a couple of years ago. His parents founded a suicide prevention program in his memory and was trying to get it implemented in school in Florida, but the crazy Scientologists stepped in and lobbied against it because it was based on psychiatric examination. Fortunately, the local government must have realized how nonsensical they were and didn't let them get in the way of passing the bill.

Somewhat surprised by this result (i.e. slack-jaw stunned), they examined the poll results and found that of the 18,000-plus votes cast, more than 14,000 came from only 10 computers. One computer alone was the source of nearly 8,400 votes(...)

God I just HATE scientologists, brain-washed idiots supporting a money-grabbing SCAM.

Come on L RON HUBBARD! Get back from Xenu's planet or whatever and SUE ME!

I hate how Scientologists always cheat to make themselves look good and popular! That would be an average of voting 1,400 times a piece assuming that only one person used each computer (considering who we're talking about here, I wouldn't be surprised). They did the same thing for all of Hubbard's books, each person buying up dozens of copies of Battlefield Earth just Hubbard would climb the New York Times Bestsellers' List and look like a popular author. Pisses me off.

Just out of curiosity, what college do you attend?

And thanks for all the exclamation points!

And by the way, congrats on your National Merit Finalist-ness! It's not exactly the easiest thing in the world to do.

Thank you, thank you. I attend the University of Mississippi with everything paid for. Freshman year was better because they even gave me extra money for a computer and there was enough left over after paying all my tuition, housing, and food bills to keep me with enough spending money for all the food, supplies, and extras that I needed. This year has been more of a pain in the ass. I still have all my tuition, etc., covered, but there wasn't much of anything left over, and because I have no job, it's caused my money supply to begin to dwindle.

One step closer to my dream college.

Congrats! I ended up being a National Merit Finalist, myself! So good luck!
