The Empire Strikes Back Script Game
Time
Pretty darned close, I'd say... ^_~

Han: *gasp* *wince*
EDIT: Add screaming in agony
Lando: Lord Vader!
Vader: You can take Captain Solo to Jabba the Hutt once I have Skywalker.
Boba Fett: He's no good to me dead!
Vader: He will not be permanently damaged.
Lando: Lord Vader! What about Leia and the Wookiee?
Vader: They must never again leave this city.
Lando: That was never a condition of our agreement, nor was giving Han to this bounty hunter!
Vader: Perhaps you think you're being treated unfairly?
Lando: No.
Vader: Good. It would be unfortunate if I had to leave a garrison here!
Lando. This deal is getting worse all the time.

Lando: ...so for a small outpost, we are surprisingly self-sufficient.
Leia: So you're part of the mining guild then?
Lando: No, not actually. Our operation is small enough not to be noticed.
Han: Aren't you afraid the Empire's going to find out about this little operation? Shut you down?
Lando: It's a danger that's loomed like a shadow over everything we've built here. But things have developed that will ensure security. I've just made a deal that will keep the Empire out of here forever.

Make your voices heard! (again) - re the 2006 GOUT DVD being in letterbox format
Time
Alright. I have my letter completed. I submit it to you, my fellow forum members, for consideration and critiquing before I send it off on its pilgrimage!

"Dear Sir:
I have been a fan of the Star Wars Trilogy for many years, and I would like to sincerely thank you and your company for finally deciding to release the unaltered, theatrical cuts of this trilogy on DVD to the general public. I know that I, and countless other fans have been clamoring for this release for quite a long time, and it is nice to know that Lucasfilm listens to its customers. I would have preferred a release separate from the 2004 Special Editions, as I already bought that set a mere year and a half ago. However, my excitement at the release of the theatrical cuts, even as mere bonus material, is enough to convince me to buy them.
However, it has recently been brought to my attention that this release will be in a letterboxed format as opposed to the technically superior anamorphic widescreen process that every other current release of Star Wars films, as well as nearly all currently produced DVDs, utilize. This has led many to believe that this release will simply be an old Laserdisk transfer. If these rumors are untrue, then forgive my presumptuousness. If it is true, however, I am shocked that Lucasfilm, a company that has always stood for high quality, would allow such low-quality releases out of its doors. These three movies, in their original theatrical presentations, are among some of the most treasured and groundbreaking movies ever released in cinema, and they deserve a spectacular release of the highest quality. If these releases, as has been speculated, are rush-jobs, I beg you to reconsider before they are pressed. Please give the fans the high-quality release that we have been requesting for years and that your company has always been known to produce.
Sincerely yours,
Lance Rumowicz"

So what do you guys think? Is it too long? Is it balanced and polite enough?

Luke: You won't.
Ben: If you choose to face Vader, you will do it alone. I cannot interfere.
Luke: I understand. R2, fire up the converters.
Ben: Luke, don't give into hate. That leads to the dark side.
Yoda: Strong is Vader. Mind what you have learned. Save you it can!
Luke: I will. And I'll return. I promise.
Yoda: Told you, I did. Reckless is he. Now... matters are worse.
Ben: That boy is our last hope.
Yoda: No. There is another...

Watch this if you haven't seen it!
Time
Yeah, all scenes like that are interesting... but they should stay as "Deleted Scenes" (assuming we ever get any). That way, we don't miss out on background information, and they seem even cooler because not everybody's seen them.

EDIT: I actually posted that before I watched it. Damn, that first part, with Luke running to the landspeeder looks horrible! It looks as old as something from a 1920s silent film! It's sad how fast film can deteriorate if allowed. The rest of the scene. I'd seen it part of it silent before, but it was a lot cooler with sound and with the whole thing there. It's actually a reall good scene and gives a lot of insight into not only Luke's world but the Star Wars world. It would be nice to have on a DVD as a deleted scene.

I should have known took, simply because I know that the music cue immediately leading from "That is why you fail," is the Imperial March. But, yeah, we screwed up. Now it's over, and we're back on track.

C-3PO: Hello, sir. I am C-3PO, human cyborg relations. My facilities are at your... well, really!
Lando: What's wrong with the Falcon?
Han: Hyperdrive.
Lando: I'll get my people to work on it right away. You know, that ship saved my life quite a few times. She's the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!
